Re: BBBofC British title circular
This part was an interesting read:
Glad to see Troy mentioned as the next opponent too.
Nothing to do with the fighter himself more the wording that they will consider the status of the belt rather than actually stating they will take it. I'm sure some promoters are better at ensuring the belt doesn't leave the fighter than others. Please note that Terry Flanagan is obliged to defend his British Championship against Scott Cardle by the end of March 2015, failure to do so will result in the Stewards considering the status of the British Championship
Glad to see Troy mentioned as the next opponent too.

Samir v ryan walsh for vacant british feather title is a good fight. Also rocky fielding. Mandatory for paul smith.
Re: BBBofC British title circular
Good to see the board have a new site too, can see the names of everyone that holds a license with them.

I think Walsh beats him easily, but I'm sure Samir will give it a go.maley1984 wrote:Samir v ryan walsh for vacant british feather title is a good fight. Also rocky fielding. Mandatory for paul smith.
I hope Rocky lays off the pies this time.

Some great fights just hope they get made.
Does anyone know what is happening with glen foot? He was looking a real contender domestically until the incident out of the ring

Whyte will make short work of Cornish if Cornish takes it. Cornish is 27 with nearly 20 fights, but the standard of opponents has been too low to make the jump to fighting Whyte. He's still young enough to develop for another couple of years if his handlers have the patience, and take a more gradually step up in opposition than this proposed fight. He definitely does need a step up though!

Foot fights patterson for english title which doubles up as an eliminator

Interesting to see on the updated site that a lot of matchroom fighters manage themselves. Joe Gallagher manages half of his stable and that Matt Macklin is the name down as manager to the mgm boys.
Re: BBBofC British title circular
Macklin managing them is interesting, all of those lads signed managerial deals with Daniel Kinahan, but Macklin is their registered manager.broomy7s wrote:Interesting to see on the updated site that a lot of matchroom fighters manage themselves. The site is far better. Think it had to be following other European countries such as Malta invading their patch, and making better sites.expe wrote:Good to see the board have a new site too, can see the names of everyone that holds a license with them.
