That was entirely Povetkin promotions and ref allowing Klitschko, a visitor, things can only be seen as an excessively fair practice. :)

I don't consider Povetkin and Perez as "massive punchers". Chris Byrd said he wasn't impressed by Povetkin's power at all. Eddie Chambers said Wlad was by far the hardest puncher he ever fought or sparred with. He also said Sam Peter hits much harder than Povetkin too. Guys like Wlad, Tyson, Haye, Lennox are MASSIVE punchers, guys like Povetkin and Perez aren't. Of course they can punch, but to call them "massive punchers" would be a big overstatement

i like mike perez but think he's a little gun shy these days after the abdusalamov fight, i think perez will fade in this fight mid to late rnds giving povetkin a points win

Perez has freakish hand speed but gets too lax defensively at times. There were times in the Abdusalamov fight where he just ate punches to the face without even trying to block them. He has functional head movement defensively, but beyond that he just doesn't seem to care enough about defense.

You look at Povetkin and to me, he's a more complete fighter. Sets up the power with solid technique and doesn't take unnecessary shots. For that reason, I think Povetkin wins the fight.

Perez will be an absolute bulldog in this match, no doubt, but Povetkin's technique and better defense wins out in the long run. Povetkin by decision....

Leapai (30-6) will try to break a two-fight losing streak when he travels to Russia to fight Manuel Charr (27-3) in Moscow on May 22, a bout crucial to his resurgence after heavy losses to undisputed champion Wladimir Klitschko (KO5) and American journeyman Malik Scott (UD).

He's barely been in better shape, fighting at his lowest weight (110kg) in years and with sharper vision after surgery to both eyes to remove cataracts that had been severely limiting his eyesight.

Usually main events from Russia seem to start around 5 or 6 here (Atlantic), so that's 1 or 2 pacific.

That's just a (somewhat) educated guess though, as I can't fin d a hard time. Even ESPN doesn't have one: "The WatchESPN stream, which also will include undercard bouts....The specific start times have not been set, nor have what other live bouts will be on"
