Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
At home? Down the pub? With mates? On your jack? Vegas? The MGM?
Re: Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
My plans revolve on who is doing the British commentary.
Re: Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
With mates. Mates putting it on which will save me whatever ridiculous fee Sky want for the fight. Assuming it'll be on Sky.

Wonder if folk'll even be able to see this anywhere outside of their home in London.

Same here. My son will only be 10 months old, but if it actually does turn out to be the fight of the century (unlikely I know), I want him to be able to say he watched it!palooka wrote:Me too, with little lad, might stay up and then wake him.Terry Dooley wrote:At home with my other half.

YouTube the next day (or whenever it's up). The days of me pulling an all nighter to watch boxing are long gone.

This one is my retirement vegas fight. Few mates round, beer, takeaways, junk food and dying on sunday.
Never again will i be staying up all night for a 5am start. With 2 little uns under 4 I'm better off getting up at 4

Really, no interest in this bout?Sklar wrote:YouTube the next day (or whenever it's up). The days of me pulling an all nighter to watch boxing are long gone.

Around your mum's.
Re: Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
Thinking about it, it might be hard for me to watch it. North End are at Colchester last day of the season on the Sunday, 12:15 kickoff, if we've been promoted or we're still in with a chance of automatics, I'll be there. There's no trains because it's bank holiday weekend and there's engineering works on the line, leaving a coach/car journey, so I'll have to set off early in the morning and the fight won't start until 5/6. The more I think about it, I'm not going to be watching.

Re: Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
Heading to Vegas, not sure where to watch if i don't get a ticket? Anyone got an recommendations for places to watch in vegas if i can't get a ticket (which i understand to be highly likely).
Re: Where Are You Watching 'The Fight'?
I'm interested, of course, I'm just not prepared to stay up all night to watch it, nor do I care about finding out the result before I see the video. Years of my life have been all about unsociable hours, not any more.palooka wrote:Really, no interest in this bout?Sklar wrote:YouTube the next day (or whenever it's up). If it's sky, are there likely to be any venues showing it in London at that time?
I would prefer 5-10 mates around a telly but not sure I know anyone with SKY!!!
