It's too late. Those that say they've both slipped equally are dead wrong . . Pac has clearly lost more than Floyd, plus has the style that simply doesn't carry well into your mid-late 30s. Floyd has the perfect skill-set/style for an older fighter. Would've been a better fight in 2009-2010.

They should have had a REMATCH five years ago.

We're all entitled to bitch & whine in whatever way we like, but at least they've finally got it on.

It won't be the prime v prime fight it would have been in 2008 or 2009, but at least it won't go down as a totally missed opportunity.

Don't tell Ricky that! He's spending every waking and sleeping hour thinking about this.

Well, i'm really glad that none of you will be in my living room on May 2nd. I'm sure that these people pissing on the fight in this forum will also be the ones bitching about paying $120 for the fight. I can't wait for those cheap bastards to pipe up. Don't watch it then. Stick to NBA basketball that everyone, wait, no one watches.

Unfortunately, a LOT more people follow, and pay to watch basketball than boxing.

I don't think a boxing fan is obliged to purchase every PPV. I may or may not purchase this one. A lot depends on the undercard.

Even though I said this fight lost much of it's super fight status as opposed to if it was made 5 years ago, I never said this isn't a huge fight and I am still very curious about it.

It's possible to both be excited about the fight, yet at the same time recognise that it's not going to be the historically significant event it would have been five years earlier when both Mayweather and Pacquiao were on top of their game. I agree with Dempseyfire - Pacquiao has slipped a lot more than Mayweather has, making it a less competitive matchup than it would have been five years earlier. I don't think this is pissing on the fight, it's just being honest and realistic - I will undoubtedly be at the pub watching the fight and cheering on Pac Man.
