Why get upset? What did you expect him to say?

"Fair play, Floyd. He's a much better fighter than me and fighting me didn't really add anything to your legacy, good luck."

I agree with Khan. I think Khan beats 2015 Mayweather. Pacquiao is way past his best.

I still won't be convinced this fight will happen though, only when they are both in the ring will I believe it.

I'm not upset mate I just think he should of said something like "I understand its the biggest fight in the world ".

I think Khan would give Floyd a real headache if they fought but he has to shut up and let his fists do the talking. Since two defeats on the trot he has fought Molina, Diaz, Collazo and Alexander! The Alexander fight was a bit of a step in the right direction but he needs to step it up and stop whining! He should try and get on the May v PAC undercard and make a statement against a decent name. Maidana maybe? If he does a better job than Floyd then he at least has a bit of ammo to back up his constant moaning.

What else would you expect Khan to say?

He's a fighter with an ego & he doesn't exist to massage Mayweather's balls, so it's inevitable he would say something like this, even if it is probably BS.

Ricky Hatton came out and said his fight with Castillo was more exciting than all of Mayweather's fights put together; this annoyed Mayweather and got him the fight.

That was also a complete BS line; why does/did he get a free pass? When he was beating up on lower ranked opposition he was exciting enough. However, his fight with Tszyu was a bit a of a wrestling match. I did enjoy it at the time but mainly because of the hype, build up and the fact that I was cheering for Hatton like a lunatic.

That is a bold statement to make considering his best win is still only Devon Alexander whereas Mayweather's list of victims reads like a who's who of world boxing.

Yeah agreed but the point I'm making is he was beaten twice then fought three second tier guys. The Alexander win was a good performance but this isn't the kind of guys he has to be fighting to force the issue. If May is looking for excuses not to face someone then he doesn't need to look very far where Khan is concerned.

Becoming? He's been a national embarrassment in 2 different decades. 'I've got one of the best chins in boxing' comes to mind.

It's a bit fornicating rich calling Manny the easier option. In sparring Manny regularly put him down and out with 16 oz gloves and headguards. Manny may be past his best but he's in a different league to Amir fornicating Khan. Brings 10x more money to the fight, too.

Yeah well, it's easy enough to call Golovkin beating Murray (example) but I take a view when sometimes it's not so universally clear cut or popular. Sometimes I'm wrong but the vast majority of the time I'm not.

Mayweather may be getting on a bit and gets hit a bit more but he is not to be underestimated, Ricky Hatton said he couldn't punch and look what happened to him. It only takes one good shot to get Amir going and Mayweather will land one or several.

Khan gets snoozed by manny from where I sit, would be a great fight I think. I think khans chances against floyd are better.
But I think floyd beats manny.

Yeah I understand he hasn't ko'd in a while, but khans chin gives me fits when I watch him. I do also think that manny raises his game for certain fights.

IMHO Khan chin really isnt that suspect, what was, was his lack of savvy and awful inside game, when he got buzzed he fell to pieces ... i think Virgil has ironed out a few of his kinks ... his schooling of alexander is probably his best fight so far...
