Fedosov looks like the clear tourney favorite but I have a hunch that the big lug Cojanu is going to surprise and take the crown.
He can't be as bad as he looked, can he? If so, why the hell are Toney and McGirt wasting time on him?

I loved the way Heaven was counted out, briefly complained and then rolled out of the ring and began walking up the aisle.
Never saw that happen before. I wondered whether he was just blowing everyone off or he was so discombobulated, he didn't know what he was doing.

Generally speaking, the quality of these heavies was pretty embarrassing.
Will Wlad grant the winner a title shot?

Dominic Breazeale's win over Lenroy Thomas in his 6th pro fights looks pretty good right now.

Estrada was in the fight and boxing fairly well until Thomas's conditioning became a primary factor and won him the day in the end.
Fedosov blew out Heaven quite easily I didn't except it to finish so fast, Heaven's chin completely gave way.
Fountain was game but Conjanu's size and strength always looked to give him the edge in the power department.
Dennis performed at an acceptable level, Vukosa's hands were too low and he seemed an easy target to hit.
The semi finals could be interesting.
Thomas v Fedosov
If Thomas allows Fedosov to get close with those wild swinging punches then anything could happen.
Thomas has it in him to frustrate Fedosov using his size and defence, question is how's the quality of the Thomas defence.
Cojanu v Dennis
Cojanu looks like he isn't getting the most out of his style, he trades when he could set things up but he has some talent there.
Dennis looks fairly fresh but will have to overcome the physical obstacles that may confront him.

Semifsnals are set on 10 April.
I think Fedosov will win without problems.
Cojanu vs Dennis is 50/50 fight.

The quarterfinal winners were Thompson (UD 7), Cojanu (UD 7), Fedosov (TKO 1 and the clear favorite to me), and Dennis (TKO 4).

I think Dennis and Fedosov will meet in the finals.

I fought Fedosov he has really good power and IMO has been a favorite from the jump he isn't a tall heavy but is a solid heavyweight for sure seen Dennis fight a few times in Iowa wasn't really impressed looked to me to be more of a runner but I wish them all the best but I would take Fedosov to win tournament

Galen, who is the hardest puncher you've faced?

Wach? Fields? Rahman? Fedosov? Abell?

And he stays down......Fedosov wins KO 3. Seems like it was a body shot.

Actually, upon viewing the replay it seems like Thompson went down from a head shot, but he was wincing after the fight as if he was still feeling the effects of a body shot.

Fedosov fought the first two rounds as if he hadn't warmed up. He looked slow and stiff but it didn't last long once he regularly got his hands moving.

I like Dennis here but he seems chinny and has been stopped hard twice.

Thompson has generally outboxed Skor through two, but he was shaken a bit in the second.

Close fight through five. Thompson's offensive output seems to have dropped over the last two.

Thompson dances around the ring in the final round as if he's won and just needs to survive.

Fans have it 5-3 Skor
Teddy has it 5-3 Thompson
Judges have it 5-3, 6-2, and 2-6 Thompson!

Not sticking around for Adams-Gasparyan, but I'd be surprised if Gasp won. Adams was my favorite from the start and I think he'll beat Thompson in the finals.

2 cracking HW semi finals and fun like the heavy's should be,Andrey Fedosov just looks solid and typically Russian, fair play for Lenroy Thomas scoring the KD in the 1st he set it up well but after that Fedosov was on a mission and battered him into submission

The KO of Razvan Cojanu by Donavan Dennis was a beauty and landed flush and I'd be surprised if Cojanu's jaw isnt broken,Dennis might never throw a better left hand, should be a lively final

I didn't think Stanislav Skorokhod was accurate enough so I was glad John Thompson got the nod although I thought he was in danger of letting it get away from him by showing Skorokhod too much respect by running a little too much instead of planting his feet a bit more, close fight though

Apart from the ear injury to Vito Gasparyan which stopped the fight it was pretty undramatic, I don't know if that was due to him and Brandon Adams being friends but both guys seemed to be going through the motions,Adams grew into it but Gasparyan never got going

I think it will be second time lucky for Adams and I think Fedosov win it too,I can't see both their opponents being able to hang over 10 rounds with them in the finals
