Lennox Rahman I
Naz Barerra

Never really 'supported' a fighter since that era.

Edit - Morales and Barrerra vs Pac to an extent, was also sad to see Brodie stopped by Harrison

McGuigan losing to Steve Cruz and Herol Graham losing first time to Kalambay really crushed me,the foolishness of youth made me think neither could be beaten :(

Ive never been really gutted about losses, however I always felt for Herol Graham getting to the top only to tumble.

When Chavez Snr began to lose I was gutted, I was upset when Hagler lost to Leonard, the same when Don Curry started to slide - Curry seemed about perfect and it seemed a shame he wasn't.

The worst was when Naz lost to Barrera although I was always a Berrera fan. Also Hatton vs May/PAC, Arthur vs Gomez, Harrison vs Medina, Lewis vs Rahman were hard to take. I also always felt crap when Enzo Mac got beaten and Rendall Munro vs Nishioka.

X2 with lewis Rahman! But the rematch almost made it worth it.

A few of the above ring true for me, benn-Collins, the mcguigan and graham losses (Jackson was the real tragedy for me), an old Chavez losing was a sad sight

but probably my worst was Darren Mcdermott 'losing' the British title fight on a headbutt vs Wayne elcock. Horrible particularly because i am so sure he would have won that night, and his enforced later retirement took any further chances from him. He was someone i had watched from the early fights so i felt particularly invested in him, i was on tenterhooks the whole week of the fight and very flat and subdued for a day or two after.

Yeah agreed mate that was sweet. I always wanted to see an Arthur v Gomez rematch also as it was a great scrap while it lasted but I don't think Alex really wanted it.

Benn vs Eubank I

Benn vs Eubank II

James Hare losing to David Barnes. I had got to know James and know how much that fight meant.

Colin Jones v Don Curry
Also Benn didn't deserve to go out with a couple of limp displays against Collins, I feel the McClellan fight took it all out of him.

Definitely.

The McClellan fight was an ageing fight.

Obviously McClellan came out of it a lot worse than Benn, but Nigel suffered too & it would have been a tough ask to have expected him to be the same after that fight.
