I didn't think the atmosphere was that good. I felt a sense of defeat in the air, unless that was just me. It didn't even compare to the joyous optimism of the Kostya fight.

I would have loved to have seen Rees smash that imbecile Broner but it wasn't to be,I wasn't surprised to be fair but still gutted

Although I like Garcia I was still down when he TKO'd Khan,I wasn't gutted as such when Wladimir beat Haye,more disappointed,also seeing Barker crumble against Sturm was pretty heartbreaking

If Jennings, Lockett,Purdy or Rose managed to win a world title over Murica,I would have been over the moon

McCullough v Zaragoza was a gutter, as was Hatton v Pacman.

For different reasons, Barrera v Morales 1 was hard to take, especially as I had always been a Barerra fan.

Surprised to hear a few people mention that one. Although it was obviously disappointing, my main emotion was anger at Barker for going ahead with the fight when he was clearly injured. I know it was a nice final payday, but the fans who spent their hard earned to travel for him deserved better imo.

All the hatton losses stung and i still find it hard to watch his last fight
Cotto's first loss to margarito got me down because i really thought cotto was something special
Evanders loss to valuev because i had some cash on it at 10/1 for Evander and felt he got robbed

Don't think i've ever let any fight crush me but i've felt a bit down a fair few times.

Several of the above hurt.

Honeyghan losing to Starling was the worst for me. I was really gutted.

Early Bruno losses. Kirkland Laing to Mid West fighter. HOKO losing to Villasana (I can't see) & Vargas.

It wasn't a question of his chin deteriorating, he just never saw that shot coming.

The first time I see hatton was vs eamonn magee and magee hurt hatton a few times so I don't think hatton ever had an iron jaw

It's hard to separate what is a fighter's 'chin', from what is actually defence and the opportunity to see the shot coming.

The knock downs in the first round, his age, the wear and tear, etc., probably all caused him to get him to get hit with a shot he wouldn't have done earlier in his career. But get hit with a huge hook, from out of your line of sight, bang on the chin, from a a big puncher and 9 times out of 10 you'll be out.

It was different from the shots he took off Tszyu IMO.

I've only ever scored the fight once, and i had it as a draw. And i'm a massive Hagler fan.
