I doubt it, Manny is fast as hell and has great lateral movement; I highly doubt he sits in one spot long enough enabling Floyd to walk him down onto the ropes and just languish there taking a beating like Canelo did.

I think this may not be a good comparison to make at all, Manny is much more mobile.

No sir. Floyd knew the intimidated Canelo wanted the fight in center ring and knew he was wayyyyyy too fast for Ginger.

This is actually quite an interesting question to me. Because floyd walked down fast dangerous fighter and southpaws, mosley, ortiz and judah. And pac not being a rough fighter as such i wouldnt be surprised if fm tried to walk him down behind the lead right.

Ortiz and Judah were classic front-runners . . heck Baldomir walked down Judah. Mosley had old man legs and was gassed after the 2nd.

Floyd will be on his bicycle . . walking straight into Pac is ridiculously stupid.

Floyd will continually move away from Paccy , try and pot shot him and move ,, he'll hope paccy will leave an opening shoot one or two in and get on his bike ,, When he's cut down and put on the ropes , he'll grab , hold , and get very defensive ,,, he'l turn it into a shite fight with his lack of willingness to throw punches , or engage , then he'll let the judges give it to him on points .

Wow that sounds an awful lot like boxing to me and exactly what Manny did vs Rios.

How can there be CONTROVERSY if Floyd does what is fair and win it cleanly if he uses that strategy? There is already a no Rematch Clause in effect if Manny loses and if Mayweather wins as you pointed out then how can Manny get him in the ring again??

This is correct. I give Mayweather more credit than to use the same tactics against Pacquiao that Margarito and DLH did. It's pretty much common knowledge that coming forward against Pacquiao is a garbage tactic.

This is going to be a tactical fight, but I don't see either guy "RUNNING" in this fight or walking the other guy down. Most of this fight will take place center ring and both guys will be standing their ground for the most part (not toe to toe fighting but they won't be doing a lot of moving for a good part of it). Pacquiao will find out early he won't be able to get close to Floyd with out getting tagged, so we'll see a much more passive Pacquiao than we're accustomed to with Pacquiao looking to pick his shots. Floyd will find his range and look to counter Pacquiao and catch Pacquiao with sneaky lead right hands and catch Pacquiao with check left hooks when he lunges in. We'll see Pacquiao throw a average of 40-50 punches a round against Floyd while Floyd will be much more accurate throwing around 30-40 punches a round.

When is the last time anyone seen Floyd walk into opponents without both defense and a planned attack in mind? You guys make it sound like he will just walk in with hands low being stupid.

Floyd can beat Pac on the inside, the outside, and anywhere in-between. Pac's punch out-put will be seriously slowed down once he pays for attacking the way he does. His mistakes will be exploited. Floyd may even laugh at him like he did JMM when he gets hit by a punch by Pac, just to get into his head, and make Pac make more mistakes. After Pac feels the sting of Floyd's counters, Floyd will come forward and walk Pac down. Wait and see.

Floyd didn't walk down canelo. Canelo biatched out when he realized that he was in over his head.
