Michael Lomax Vs Chas Symonds 2
These pair fighting again, saw some footage from the press conference yesterday, certainly not each others biggest fans. Could be a fiery small hall ding dong. Lomax retiring regardless after the fight.
Also Robert Lloyd Taylor listed on the bill, what happened to him. That time when he came in as replacement and won prizefighter was fairy tale stuff, just checked and he's only fought one 6 rounder since then in 2012.

Chas Symonds is well liked by Helder from IFL tv. He was in his corner when Helder did his white-collar bout (all this is on youtube of course). Plenty of interviews of Symonds.
He is a nice guy but clearly never had the lifestyle to become a world level champion. He did try to relocate to Greece to get away from the 'booze drinking' but like so many expats I can meet, he couldn't get use to the local life.
Anyway, I think Lomas will be too big, too strong, too experienced for Chas.

Chas started with my gloves our dads used to drink together and I remember checking for my training gloves that I hadn't used for a while and they were gone I asked my dad if he'd seen them and he had given them to Larkin's who is chas's dad I was really pissed off but the old man gave a shut the fornicate up look and the subject was closed.UrbanFox wrote:Chas Symonds is well liked by Helder from IFL tv. Not really clued up on these two or the undercard but saw the video and I'm thinking of going the only problem is I've got my cousin down that weekend whose not really into boxing. Is this a decent card with lively fights on it?

I am slightly bias as lomax is a friend of mine but he will win this again on points. Symonds has been bad mouthing him to increase ticket sales saying he ignores people that say hello etc. Couldn't be further from the truth as he always stops for photos an doesn't come across as at all arrogant. I'll be walking him to the ring as its his last fight before he retires, so another tick on the old bucket list!!!
