BWH Rankings as of 28 February 2015:

Champion: Wladimir Klitschko
1. Alexander Povetkin
2. Tyson Fury
3. Deontay Wilder
4. Kubrat Pulev
5. Bryant Jennings
6. Vyacheslav Glazkov
7. Bermane Stiverne
8. Carlos Takam
9. Dereck Chisora
10. Tony Thompson
11. Steve Cunningham
12. Chris Arreola
13. Odlanier Solis
14. Artur Szpilka

Topic A - How are the rankings affected by Tony Thompson's RTD8 win over Odlanier Solis?

My vote: Thompson to #9, Solis OUT

Topic B - How are the rankings affected by Tyson Fury's RTD8 win over Christian Hammer?

My vote: Fury to #1, Hammer remains unranked

Note: This topic is for voting on the rankings of Thompson, Solis, Fury and Hammer. Posting your own Top 15 will not count as a vote. Please cast your vote in the manner than I have done above.

How is Thompson out? Why even bother having fights if results don't matter?

Why would you have Thompson not move? He just stopped a guy with a solid record.

I just can't see ranking Fury over Povetkin based on the unranked Hammer quitting. Povetkin's record is still better.

His punches doesn't have any pop since Takam fight. He is done as an elite fighter.

I never really thought Thompson's punches had a lot of pop; he just lands them. He's not in the elite because he lost to Takam and Pulev, but when you beat up a 20-2 and make him quit, you should move up IMO.

The number 8 (Takam) recently beat Thompson? Really think he moves to 7?

Why would you have Thompson not move? He just stopped a guy with a solid record.
a) Because I saw the first fight, and he schooled Solis in that one as well. His recent win barely adds anything to his resume that wasn't already there.
b) I think Chisora is better. I can't move him ahead of Chisora if I don't think he's better than Chisora.
c) He lost very widely to Takam. He probably shouldn't be ranked a single slot below Takam when there is in fact a pretty big gap of ability between them.

Chisora????
When was the last time he beat a contender?
When did he ever beat a contender?

a) A win is a win but I see your point. Arreola was still ahead of Stiverne in some ratings even after Stiverne beat him as was Solis after TT beat him. But when you go 2-0 that kind of puts a stamp on it.

b) I don't think Chisora is better, but even if he is, Chisora never beat a guy as good as Solis, much less beat him twice. He actually did "beat" Helenius though.

c) I was wrong and corrected that. I rate TT now behind Takam. I'd be a total hypocrite if I didn't. I went back to edit the change.

Helenius is better than Solis. I'd say Scott and Johnson were better as well.
