Manny Sold His Soul READ THIS

The reason why Floyd doesn't want to deal with Bob Arum is the fact that he wanted to talk to Manny personally to "stage" the fight. Mark, this fight is fixed. Floyd is so sure to win this fight that even 50 cent is betting $1.6 million on Floyd to beat Manny. Manny has a huge tax obligation back home amounting to more than a billion peso and the only way he could pay it is to fight Floyd. Floyd knows this and took advantage of it.

The only way Pacquiao defeats Floyd is to bum rush and pepper him with punches. But Manny's not going to do that. Come fight night, both fighters will dance to Floyd's choreography - and throw punches just enough to fool the paying public into thinking that the fight was close or exciting enough to merit a rematch.

Manny's chances of beating Floyd is zero because he has now put his greed for money, fame and power above glory. Boxing has given him so much but in return he turned his back on it(by indulging in politics, showbiz, etc). That's why the gods of boxing punished him with that knockout against Marquez.

No matter how many dream about Manny beating Floyd, reality is that, it's all written in stone - Floyd will beat Pacquiao on May 2nd - and that's coming from a staunch, diehard, Filipino Pacquiao fan.

That's the way I see it but many will convince themselves that this will be a competitive and entertaining fight. The fight should have taken place after pac knocked out hatton and cotto. Then maybe it would have been worth something. I do give manny credit and he will most likely try and make something out of it. But then again he no longer has the killer instinct and he has lost the snap on his punches. Plenty of better fights out there IMO.

Yup, to the Devil. We saw that when his mama was casting evil spells at ma boy Bradley and his ankles twist and turn. They plan doing same to Floyd. His prostate will flare up like a freaking tiki torch in the middle of the sixth round. Money will holler Manny bit at his balls. Baelish not seeing anything, will nevertheless give him 5 minutes of teabagging. That makes testi swell up like watermelons. Hes gonna scream in horror, shall clear off of the building faster then mini money. Then Beelzebob Arum will say I told you so, we knew we would win all along.

Mark this, you heard it here first.

Please don't start with the setting up a rematch conspiracy theory.

How many years would it take to get them into a ring for a rematch?

Most of us would have died of old age by the time that their string pullers negotiated a potential rematch between those two. :witzend:

True, true!! So far I've read this excuse and I've also heard Manny complaining about Cramps (so when he loses he has a built-in excuse) and read that someone thinks Haymon is tampering with Manny's sparring partners.

It is getting ridiculous.

Freddie's take below:

It seems the "Mayweather vs. Pacquiao" super fight is already well underway, two months before either man is scheduled to enter the ring.

Although the two fighters’ respective camps only began on Monday of this week, stories of “foul play” are currently circulating around the boxing community.

“I try to hire sparring partners, and Al Haymon’s people call them up and offer them more money not to come,” insists Freddie Roach. “It’s a bit of gamesmanship going on, but I’m not worried about those guys. We’ve got four really good sparring partners to work with Manny for this fight, four Mayweather look-a-likes, and we have our gameplan.”

Admittedly, the Hall of Fame fight trainer has been working on Pacquiao’s strategy for the past half decade…since talks of a proposed super fight initially began in 2010.

“I started working on this gameplan five years ago, but it’s changed a little bit. I’ve had to make some adjustments. But I’m very confident that we’ll win the fight, and this is going to be the biggest night in all of our lives.”

The seven-time trainer of the year is confident that he will have the more vibrant fighter in his corner on May 2nd.

“I think Manny a little bit sharper than Mayweather at this time,” claims Pacquiao's longtime boxing mentor."

“I think his legs are shot a little bit, because he says that he wants to please the fans and exchange (with his opponents). I think it’s because he has to because he can’t move.”

“In Manny’s last fight with Algieri, he had him down six times. He still has his pop. He doesn’t have that killer instinct that he once had, but he can still punch."

"The best part of that fight was Manny’s legs were under him for twelve straight rounds and he was on his toes the whole time.”

“Manny’s legs haven’t failed him yet…Mayweather’s legs are going to fail him soon.”

manny seems to me to be a fighter who needs to
establish his rhythm of hitting in order to win.
whereas floyd just plays the cards given to him in
any specific bout.

i do not see pac being able to establish any type
of rhythm. floyd is just too versatile for allowing
that. i am a fan, but i cannot see pac do this.

my last thought is usually: but maidana? and here
i get stuck a little.

but then again i do not think floyd aged or faded that
quickly. maidana has just some awkward style and
looked better against floyd than he actually is,
because it is just difficult to look good against such
unorthodox angles.

i think floyd can handle fast, relatively straight incoming
guys very well, no matter how fast they actually come in.
at least he handles them well enough to not allow for the
establishment of any rhythm. and here he breaks manny,
who needs exactly that.

i wished it was different, but i cannot see floyd lose this
one.

Floyd's hater are awesome. Mayweather should stop fighting has all of his fights are fix. So like that haters all have a good reason to explain there lost.. Come on guys open your eyes you can hate the guy but aknowledge he beat everyone he faced. Some matches were close, some were dominant but the fact is he is brilliant in a ring and an asshole in life. This is how you should be peaceful about it

You guys should really read back over your posts, conspiracy theories are one thing but you blokes take it to another level, let's look at it logically, neither of these 2 have ever faced an opponent as good as they will on May 2nd, styles make fights, they both have very unique styles, questions are, will floyd be able to cope with being peppered constantly, will pacquaio be still enough for floyd to land, who will be forced backwards, to say pacquaio has no chance because he is in debt makes no sense, if pacquaio wins on may 2 he will be in control of proceeding should there be a rematch and would be taking the lions share of the takings of that rematch, floyd has built his empire on his zero, once that has gone so has his negotiating power

Who said Manny has no chance? And for you to say something as crappy as "Floyd has built an empire on his zero and once that is gone so has his negotiating power" is just total foolishness.

Floyd built his empire on his skills inside the ring, none of us has stated that Pacquiao has zero chance to win; he is Manny Pacquiao, he can punch, he is fast, he has crazy angles and he has show that he can box, he has heart/can take it and dish it out-----why on Earth wouldn't he have a chance.

You just came here so quick to hate and put out what you ASS-umed we were saying but neither of us stated such things you said. I posted what Roach had to say and the things Manny is saying about cramps because I feel whenever a boxer starts going into a fight with a handicap that he can always fall back on that as an excuse should he lose and I see weakness in that.

If you don't agree then that is fine and your prerogative but never would I say that Manny Pacquiao the 2nd best WW doesn't have a chance.

Well explain what fixed is, it was the word used in the 1st post in the 1st paragraph, according to my interpretation that means is fixed for floyd to win, wouldn't you agree?
