Did they do any homework on this Tete?
He was talking about getting inside and making him work, then did fornicate all fight. Style wise Tete was always going to be hard for him, but Butler made it easy for him, he's a good fighter, but he needs to drop back down a level, get himself a boxing brain, learn to plant his feet more and actually fight instead of prancing around, good enough at a lower level, but against world class fighter, it isn't enough.

WBA announced Kono has to start negotiations with Koki Kameda, Koki would be favoured there a dick possibly Yafai vs Koki would easy to make... Red Tso is being pushed that way.

WBC has a good champion and a world title eliminator being made soon.
If I'm not mistaken the other Kameda brothers signed with Haymon recently so can see that.

Yeah all 3 are with Haymon. Poor Tso has just signed with Arum so will be frozen out if Koki wins the belt.

Wow Butler KO'd in 8,superb left uppercut puts Paul down heavy,he got up but didn't beat count

First time I'd seen Tete and he is quality, used all his attributes to great effect,I never gave Paul a round,he never really got into the fight and struggled to get inside,Zolani judges distance superbly

I agree with Lockett and co,nothing Butler would have done wins him this fight,Tete just too good

I'd like to see him again

This is nothing like Khan losing to Prescott as Warren said, Prescott was never world class and Khan was nowhere near his peak, also its different getting outclassed then just an early K.O

All the talk of two world titles and Butler isn't even world class in my opinion. Looked totally clueless in there.....

I think he's been the most overrated British fighter for a while now.

Can't see how Butler came close to winning a round let alone two; a very clear shutout for Tete in my view.

To be honest, I'm glad this was the outcome as all the blabber about Butler winning a second world title and breaking some record in doing so nettled me; it seems like people generally decry the proliferation of titles but to me there is still too much focus on belts relative to opposition, and I don't think Butler has beaten anyone better than EBU-level at best. Tete was overlooked but he's a classy champion who has done it the relatively hard way, consistently mixing with good opponents and fighting his title eliminator against a Mexican in Mexico, winning the title against a Japanese fighter in Japan, and now making an impressive first defense against an Englishman in England.
