It's sad that the heavyweights are right now the poorest division in boxing. Maybe 3 or 4 guys worthy of being called boxers. Let's see Fury fight Kubrat Pulev or Deontay Wilder or even Alex Ustinov before he gets to fight the heavyweight champion of the world. Right now the Elephant Man is a carnival side-show.

You're really tough on this guy. True, Fury has not proven yet he's up there with a Klitschko, Lewis, or Holme, but I do think he has already proven he's at least a Joe Bugner or Gerry Cooney. Getting knocked down by Cunningham isn't THAT bad. Cunningham can fight some. Fury got up and won convincingly. Fury has a decent jab. Can fight southpaw. Works to the body very well which very few HWs do. Give the guy a break. :witzend:

No he didn't, he won illegally. P4P he's miles behind Cunningham. As soon as he fights a proper sized heavyweight that can bang he'll be exposed as the fraud he is from flat on his flabby back in the middle of the ring.

Cunningham is a damn good fighter and his fight with Adamek could have been called a draw or even a Cunningham win. Sure, he is more of a cruiser but Fury did KO him.

I'm not saying Fury is an all time great or anything, I'm just saying he's a very exciting fighter who does a lot of things very well, like fight southpaw, jab, work the body etc.

Tyson, Hughie Fury, Parker, Wilder, and Joshua are all exciting HWs IMO.

so 6'2" 240+ (his last 2 opponents) don't qualify as proper sized heavyweights and they can't bang.
did you have somebody specific in mind outside the top 10 in the world who is a "proper sized
heavyweight who can bang"? there are only a few people on the whole planet who satisfy your
requirements in order to prove he sucks.

this is like saying if kareen abdul jabar was 6' tall he wouldn't have been a great NBA center.
well f'ing DUH!!! heavyweights are big. if you want to fight heavyweight you have to fight the
biggest guys out there. stop complaining about a heavyweight being big. just stop watching
heavyweights if that bothers you. if you can't name 10 guys who can beat him then he belongs
in the top 10. his combination of size and skill makes him top 10, maybe top 5

If there was Fury-Cunningham 2, I think Fury would win more impressively. That is often the case. Fury was behind on 2 cards I believe, but the ultimate outcome was convincing. Nothing wrong with a HW using his size or reach. You utilize your attributes. Fury, Wlad, Lennox Lewis lean on opponents. It's a physical game.

I think Fury would beat Pulev easily and I'd give Fury the edge against Povetkin. Fury vs Wlad? I'd go with Wlad, but wouldn't be surprised by a Fury win. Fury vs Wilder? I have no freaking idea. I couldn't imagine more than 5 guys who could beat Fury now, so I'm not getting all the hate, unless people just hate his personality and can't separate his personality from his talent.

How did Fury win illegally? By hitting him?

Tyson is much better than he is given credit for but Wlad will knock him out IMO, he is on a different level to Fury, one that Fury that has never experienced no matter what allegedly keep telling their viewers.
