Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
For what it's worth I think that Campbell will make easy work of Tommy Coyle. I don't care how tonight goes and how great Sky tell us he's looked!

Out of interest... Since when did Tommy Coyle become something better than domestic level? :/ I appeared to have missed him going from "life and death with under sized Argentinian" to good fighter...

With all due respect to Coyle, who was giving world title challenger Matthews a beating, he is being overhyped, so when Campbell beats him, Campbell looks like King Kong

Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
I thought he was out of there when gethin landed. I'll give him one thing coyle,he's never in shit fights
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
Point should have come off there, that was the third time he'd thrown a punch on the break.
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
Why is Gethin allowing Coyle back into the fight? Coyle was out of it, still shaking up as he was going back to the corner.
Gethin does not seem to have ambition, it reminded me of when RJJ floored JC - Gethin almost seems apologetic "Sorry, boss that wasn't supposed to happen".

Ah the beautiful drama of boxing...just when you think you're watching an entirely predictable bill (apart from the Eggy fight)

Nobody on here is, Sky and Hearn are. I understand promoting your fighter but you can't polish a turd and sell it as gold like they are trying..jameswilson wrote:Since never. On Boxing Prospect's reply. That is what we have to put up with from promoters and commentators unfortunately. Last night the commentators were saying Butler is a magnificent World class boxer. This is based off of beating Stuart Hall. McGuigan was hyping his guy saying he'd beat Rigondeaux (not as bad an exaggeration as the other ones we've mentioned) and Tyson Fury's guys are telling us he will beat Klitschko and the fight will be in England.
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
Pr(n)ick Halling might actually cry here if Coyle gets beaten! Tunnel vision as per usual from Halling! Commentates on half a fight!
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
Hearn has just handed a big cheque over to Gethin's corner.
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
gethin wasn't there to win!
Re: Hull bill discussion thread 7th March 2015
