Why couldn't he win 4 or more?
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
Equally, would 2 and 3 be an option when Keith sparks him out in 1?

Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
You only gave 3 rounds, what if it is a 12 round fight and Thurman wins all 12?
Thurman needs a little more seasoning, but then again Floyd is past his peak and declining by the second so why not fight now, I would watch it on PBC.

I am tired of these idiotic flomo polls this mother fornicator is posting. I am saying Thurman wins all 12 rounds. You discuss.

Gave you a shot OP. Seems like you are mentally challenged or a troll. Welcome to my ignore list. I don't got the patience to deal with straight stupid on a boxing forum.
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
I think we shouldn't be going so far by sucking Thurman's d*ck at this moment, dude showed he has too many flaws and unable to fight on the inside and for anyone to say he sparks Floyd out in 1 round is just plain idiotic.
I saw many holes that Keith had in his game and if he makes those mistakes with the likes of Mayweather or Pacquiao then he will definitely be on the canvas or KO'd.
Some people go too far, he's not ready yet but give him another year and he will be fully polished.

Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
So I gotta be on him in order for me to see all the mistakes that Thurman made that can be exploited? Jeez, you can't say anything about any fighter here in reference to Floyd (I mentioned Manny as well but you singled out Mayweather) being able to exploit the mistakes I saw and if I can see them then he will also.SFW wrote:Jesus Brutweather, why don't you just eff him and let us all off the hook
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
Sorry, had to do it. More comical than serious, Thurman definitely has flaws. His balance sucks sometimes, he poses after throwing shots, he never gets that left hand up to catch counters so he gets hit cleanly, his neglects defense at times, he is a work in progress. But he's done well so far, and will get better. The beauty of this sport is one right move can decide things, a guy that is offensive minded and takes chances is a threat to anyone especially Floyd. He struggled 2x recently with a limited Maidana, Keith is a greater threat than that even now imagine later.
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
Yeah but you only focused on Floyd when I mentioned Manny as well. I just think he'd win 4 rounds vs Floyd before Mayweather figures him out, I'm not so sure he would last that long with Pacquiao because Manny doesn't wait that long to figure you out, he simply attacks and with as many mistakes Keith makes he'd leave himself open to one of those weird angle shots that Manny throws and may get caught and Hattonized.SFW wrote:Sorry, had to do it. Now that Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero (32-3-1, 18 KOs) has been in the ring with both Keith 'One Time' Thurman (25-0, 21 KOs) and Floyd 'Money' Mayweather (47-0, 26KOs), the Gilroy boxer was able to give his breakdown of whether or not Thurman is capable of beating Mayweather in a contest.
Guerrero lost to both Thurman and Mayweather, by way of twelve round decision. Both of those contests took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather outboxed Guerrero for nearly their entire fight, while Thurman made it a war at times and landed some very big punches in several rounds.
An overhand right caught Guerrero in the ninth round, which the boxer said hit him to the back of the head. Guerrero went down and had to dig deep in order to survive as Thurman tried to finish him in that round.
Guerrero praises Thurman but doubts he is ready for a fighter on the level of Mayweather.
"[Thurman] is a solid fighter, but Floyd is extremely fast. His reaction time is quick. I couldn’t even land punches on him, really. That’s how quick he is. And it's not just how quick he is. It’s how quick his reaction time is, so in time maybe [Thurman] will be ready. He’s a solid fighter, he’s got good boxing skills. He’s got good power in both hands. Who knows? Anything can happen in boxing," Guerrero said.

Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
I think Thurman would do just fine against Mayweather. He's quick and has explosive power in both hands. FMJ never takes the fight so it's not even worth discussing, honestly. I think that if Porter wins his next bout, they should pair him with Thurman and that would be one heck of a bout. Porter likes to bang and make it ugly. I think that would be a great fight but Thurman can think again if he thinks he'll ever share the ring with FMJ. Never happen...ever.
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
I often wonder why people continually say things like this? If I had a million dollars for everyone they've ever said that Floyd would not face, well we all know the rest.caldo2025 wrote:I think Thurman would do just fine against Mayweather. So, and?? I have no problem with that, many people still think the Superfight is even, Manny is a hell of a fighter and we all know Floyd is also-personally I have no problem with either of them being favored over the other.
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
three or less. needs KO vs Floyd...everyone knows how those rounds get judged vs Floydie
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
No everyone doesn't, why don't you enlighten us with your Insider information on how these rounds get judged vs Floydie please??birdman77 wrote:three or less. needs KO vs Floyd...everyone knows how those rounds get judged vs Floydie
Re: How many rounds would Thurman win against Mayweather?
I think the fight might be closer than some think.
Keith could win more than three. And with his power, a 10-8 round is not impossible either, tho I doubt he KOs Floyd.
