Broner calling out Khan

Post by TJ77 »

I think if Khan fight doesn't want to fight Brook for whatever reason cant fight Mayweather or Pacman for obvious reasons and is looking for a statement win AB maybe a viable opponent.
Broners scalp would be a credible one and Maidana got the nod to fight Mayweather off the back of beating Broner and he says he will come to England.
Win win unless Broner hands him his arse then what?

Where did he call him out? Twitter? Or interview?

I think Khan would run rings around Broner to be fair. He should take the fight. Would probably be in Vegas though unfortunately.

I think it would be an excellent fight for either Khan or Brook to take. Would make either guy very good money and Broner is not good at all at welterweight.

Calling it win-win is pushing it a bit tho. If they lose then it's not good news even if they do make a packet out of it.

Amir Khan would smash Broner to bits, simply wouldn't handle Amirs speed

The press conferences would interesting.

If Broner is willing to travel, then it's a no-brainer for Khan.

Khan beats Broner all day at 147 & Broner is also a 'name', so that would give Khan kudos.

Terrible match-up for Broner. He's probably stupid enough not to realise it, but I'm guessing his team will look elsewhere.

I'd absolutely love to see Khan smash that clown Broner,Adrien is talented with his speed being his biggest asset but Amir trounces him in that department,Khan's also busier, has a better boxing brain(although outside the ropes, their both level par :D ) and he also has a better jab, along with more sensible, experienced Khan there should be no way Broner wins this

Both guys have fighting hearts though if need be,but Khan's simply a better boxer

Great fight, Khan wins by clear UD. Broner just isn't busy enough.

Make it happen in MSG.

Terrible fight. Khan beats him easily and it will add very little to Khan's record or reputation.

Khan should be fighting Bradley, Marquez or Brook in the summer, not another chump.

At 147lb? In the UK? Against a fighter that brings hype & a US and UK TV audience?

It's a payday, it's a very very winnable fight. And even though most have seen through the hype and bluster with Broner it'll get him more recognition than fighting someone like Brandon Rios or Andre Berto (because, that's probably the type of opponent he had lined up)

No brainer for me

Those fights were never on the card for Khan

the fight will add little to Khans record/reputation, to the knowledgeable boxing fan. But to the casual observer, this gets a lot more recognition than whatever opponent Khan was likely to face next.

Khan's wasting his prime years. Broner is just another bore.

Hopefully it doesn't happen. Boxing is so bloody boring at the moment.

We all know that, but the fact remains, he wasn't going to take a risk in his next fight, he wasn't going to fight Maidana or brook or thurman or bradley or marquez

He was going to look at someone like the winner of the lopes vs berto fight

I'd quite like to see broner get his ears boxed off. it'll be fun if nothing else and the hype and bullshit before will be mildly entertaining

I seem to be on my own here but I like the fight ,broner has enough snap in his shots to mean it would be interesting , khan should outbox him but he should of outboxed Garcia .I think this is a better fight than against Bradley myself stylistically

I like the Bradley vs Khan fight as well, but it depends which Bradley we see.

The Bradley of old, who tried to plough through you, with his head if need be, would have been interesting.
As it happens, I had Bradley as favourite if the 2 had met at LWW a few years back.

Obviously Khan's a different animal now

And Bradley has refined his boxing skills a tad over the last few years and if he tried to work behind the jab and pick Khan off, Khans speed and reach would tell IMO

But Bradley is much, much better than Broner.

Broner is the biggest hypejob of the last 10 years.

US or UK Khan has to snap Broners hand off. Big payday and he sees his fanbase grow by shutting up that large mouthed pillock.

Styles make fight and Bradley is to small to outbox khan ,he's not a big puncher and I think he's Taylor made for khan .
As for broner I don't think he's the next Floyd and I haven't seen his fight vs Molina yet but I honestly think it would be a good fight

Bradley would beat Broner with ease.

Bradley is a far superior opponent for anyone than the massive hypejob Broner.

Broner's the perfect Khan opponent. An all-american hype job and recent gatekeeper to Floyd Mayweather. Khan would slap Broner around silly, leagues apart.
