Has there been any deaths in Ameteur Boxing in the UK in?
Has there been any deaths in Amateur Boxing in the United Kingdom in the past 25 years?.

I don't believe so, but there have been a couple of incidents that haven't been widely reported where boxers have been hospitalised for several weeks.

Geoff McCreash had a bout and the lad was hurt but recovered, that was in around 1992, Alan Vaugn was also in a bout where his opponent was hurt, he also recovered after some time in hospital - again, around '91/'92.

There was a Scouse kid who died in an amateur bout - around 25 years ago. His name escapes me though but made
the news - RIP.

Deaths o f boxer will only happen when during the fight, one has been accidentally hit in the the fatal area. Or sometimes when no death occurs he would probably become paralyzed.
