I remember a lot of people on here raving about Saunders...he is still winning sure but....I dunno, I just don't think he is as good as a lot make out. Always said that.

Funny old game is boxing...

He just seems to rush a lot and doesn't seem to set his shots up (or maybe he does it so subtlety that I can't see); it may be that he's used to boxing at a high level as an amateur and doesn't fear anything his current opposition can do. Mickey1975 rates him so he maybe has that bit more than is apparent.

I've watched quite a lot of him as an amateur. He's a very skilled boxer. Hopefully he'll shine in his next few bouts. I can't see Dave Ryan troubling him. Then again, I didn't see Bundu troubling Gavin. Maybe the 2008 boys are cursed?

Saunders to stop him! I think Saunders will benefit from having to make 140. He loses something at 147.

Exactly! As mentioned above, he has been involved in boxing one way or another for some time. And he has managed to set up a successful, popular gym in Marbella and is already expanding to Scotland. Not doing too badly for a novice, and one has to assume he has a team of 'qualified' people around him.
