I think purse hasn't been published yet here. I've looked everywhere I could think of already. Image

Cunningham won that fight, and obviously some percentage of fans are going to treat Glazkov as though he won the fight because they only look at the records. They're probably gonna move Glazkov up and Cunningham down in the ratings, even though Glazkov should be moving down and Cunningham should be moving up.
This is exactly what is happening right now. Not very surprised.

That was a very close fight. As always when one fighter lands more punches but mainly jabs, while the other one lands more power punches, there will be different opinions. I think a draw and rematch would be a fair result. For the record, I voted for Cunningham on PTBF, so I am a little disappointed.

Kovalev is the real deal but is reign will be short, Berterbiev is coming and he's going to knock him out.

Kovalev doesn't have to land many shots on Ward to take him out. Hopkins was hurt really bad in the last round against Kovalev. Ward isn't going to avoid all of Kovalev's shots for 12 rounds and if you think so you are delusional. Kovalev cuts the ring off really well and pressures fighters. That not only takes a toll physically but mentally. Ward can survive for a few rounds but eventually Kovalev will catch him and it will be all over.
Agree. Ward cannot beat Kovalev. I think even diddy realises that now. And that fight will never happen by the way. If Ward gets serious about light heavyweight he maybe could go for Adonis if he's still around, that's a fight he could win.

And I don't see much reason to say Beterbiev has the potential to be better than Krusher. Artur is good but he's a little cruder for my money than Kovalev.

Beterbiev will never be better than Kovalev, but he still could take him out in an exchange.

Kovalev has the better trainer in John David Jackson and he's improved over the past few years. Beterbiev just has our mediocre Canadian trainers like Russ Anber to work with.

Kovalev is now a more complete, better all-round boxer than Beterbiev.

Sergey will school Beterbiev and then knock him out.

Don't count Beterbiev out. It's not like he has just power. He cuts the ring extremely well and puts relentless pressure on his opponents. We have never seen Kovalev under pressure in the pro fight, but they say he felt very uncomfortable under Golovkin's pressure in the sparring (and was knocked down by Gennady BTW). And I'll say it once again: Beterbiev isn't just crude banger, he is very good boxer himself. He was much better amateur than Kovalev was. World Champion, two-times European champion. I think he made mistake moving up to Heavyweight. Usyk wan't just too fast and too skilled for him, but also too big. Look, Usyk beat really huge superheavyweights, 6'6'' 250-270 lbs guys in WSB and extremely strong and powerful two-time World Champion Magomedrasul Medzidov, who was roughly the same height but like 35-40 lbs heavier. If Beterbiev stayed in the Light Heavyweight division, he would be Olympic Champion in 2012.

Beterbiev never was a better amateur. They were the same level. Beterbiev just got the spot on the team due to politics (Chechen connections).

He beat Kovalev (close fight but still) and beat Attoev who KO'ed Kovalev with a single punch. Also won much more amateur titles on the different levels. So yes, he was better amateur.

Kovalev questions that and unfortunately we can't see that fight. Of course Beterbiev won more titles, because Kovalev was barely taken to any international championships.
