Shawn Porter needs a new trainer!

Post by psychod1986 »

Kenny Porter isn't a real trainer and every time Porter fights we see the same mistakes.Every time Shawn fights,it's more of a clinch Feast, rather than a boxing match. :box:

Clinching is the most popular move in boxing now.

Are you new to the sport???????
Clinching is one of the most popular defensive strategies used by top boxers.
such as Klitschko,Mayweather and numerous others.Though we as fans hate to watch
a clinchfest.

Just because it is used by numerous fighters and trainers at this time (read carefully)
does not mean it will work for every fighter.
Could it just be that Kell Brook is just better than Porter??????

And yes I agree Porter could benefit from a new trainer.

It's not just about clinching, some of Porter punches don't land accurate, thats why i say he needs a new trainer.

I just think he has learned all he can form his father.
A set of new eyes would only improve him at this point.

It varies. You can't just switch to a trainer who teaches a different style and benefit. The new trainer needs to add new tools while still working within the framework of the old style, and the new trainer has to be very experienced with the old style.

Yes I agree. But a new trainer who can incorporate a few additions to his
arsenal while fine tuning his already good skills would be awesome.
