Anything Shawn can get above him makes sense for him.

I think Keith gots a lot of solid options & he's more in the drivers seat so its more about what he can get & than maybe him finding Shawn being a lesser, but decent enough option if these bigger things don't work out for whatever reason. I'd say he's on the table for Floyd in Sept., I'd say him vs Amir is a great option to take, Keith vs Kell is a hype fight between undefeated abc belt holders.

Outside of thurman getting floyd or pac....who would be better??

We mentioned Khan/Brook...they likely fighting each other.

Haymon does the as top rank and golden biy except he has more fighters and its on free tv

Alternatively it's a fight between 2 consensus top 10 fighters that is relatively simple to make. A good style clash to make Keith look good and a big name for Porter to jump t h e queue with.

IMO, Thurman just dominated a guy in Ghost that would likely beat Porter.

I know who I will be expecting to win if this match is made.

I agree but really I'd favor Thurman over everyone but Floyd/Pacman......this would be a good fight to make unless Thurman or Porter for that matter were able to get a Floyd/Pacman/Khan.

This Division is swarming with talent .. Thurman might be a little to much for porter.. is there a reason why JMM couldn happen or is that to far away?

I wouldn't mind JMM or a Bradley, just don't see them fighting Thurman. JMM is looking for cash money fights before retiring and Bradley is a Top Rank fighter and we all know how that goes.

I'm not just talking about Thurman but Porter as well. Good fights for either dude. I just thought with Thurman fighting on NBC last week and Porter fighting last night it would be a little easier to make and be put on NBC. I don't think there would be interest in seeing either dude bomb out Berto.

can imagine JMM probably wants to rinse a few purses out of his belt.... fair play to him a long time in the business he probably wants a nce retirement package. Thurman and Porter maybe a little to lively after his struggles with Bradley. not sure who hel fight and still get reasonable golden handshake

Brook v Thurman for me maybe the most likely to happen and should be a very good match up.. as Khan appears not to be interested in Brook and is looking elsewhere in Pac or MW, I have sneaky feeling Khan is holding out to fight with brook to get a belt so its not Brooks IBF on the table and take an even split.

yea i pretty much agree. Khan is playing it cool keeping his name in the articles and waiting on floyd/pac result. even tho his sorry ass done been ko'd 3 times and he has never avenged them. brook maybe harder to make now that he has the title. He proly won't be wanting to make a big defense in the states now that he has a title which is where Haymon/Thurman for sure would want it to take place. Now I can see Porter going to England to seek revenge.

im guessing your not a Khan fan :D. I like Khan, however I can see why he may irate a few people when he flips his ego like broner. Hes actaully comes acros as a decent lad outside the ring

I have to say I would like to see Khan v MW just to see how MW would manage the speed of Khan, it would be an interesting fight but it wont happen.

I saw Khan in the olympics for the 1st time and was amazed. I remember telling my dad about Khan and saying he would not only win a title but become an ATG. I was off a little, but he is a good fighter. My problem with him is in my earlier post he's been ko'd 3 times and all 3 guys fight in or around his division yet he doesn't mention them. He acts like nothing has happened and that he truly deserves a fight with Floyd/Pacman. He's annoying anymore.

Nah I don't think its very likely myself, but I believe Keith got on Floyd's shortlist with the Guerrero W.

A while back, when Porter was still champion, I said I'd have loved to have seen Porter vs Thurman and Khan vs Brook, then the winners fight each other

no reason, after 1 defeat, that this scenario wouldn't still be appealing.

I had Thurman winning it before and still think that would be the case. It's definitely a fight I want to see.

I think either one if them lose to Sammy Vasquez. Especially that Porter. He didn't impress me none the other night.
