I don't think boxing is as progressive an industry. I mean what happened to that one gay boxer? Absolutely nothing lol. Meanwhile that gay NBA guy who averages 1.1 pts a game or whatever had the #1 selling jersey for some period of time I recall hearing. And I mean boxing is one of the few if only individual sports where national/racial matchups are not only discussed but hyped. I can't imagine that happening in any of the major sports where Fox is hyping sh!t like that. Meanwhile PR vs Mexico or the black guy vs the white guy gets a promoter drooling during the presser. Boxing hasn't advanced to modern culture basically. If you gay in boxing you probably wanna stay in the closet. you hear me Sugar Ray with you're manly looking "wife".
It is weird. It would be much more logical for Bieber to hang out with someone that he has a lot more in common with, like Manny Pacquiao. They could sing a duet of "Sometimes when we touch"...Manny's favorite song.

I'm not knocking him for it. Different strokes for different folks. It's all good.
Only someone who thinks like you would notice that, obviously it must be something you do in secret.

Racial/National matches do make it more interesting, as I talked about in the thread: "Tell me True." Even if I don't care myself who wins I KNOW that there are millions of Eatern Europeans, African Americans, Puerto Ricans, or Mexicans rooting for their side. I kind of vicariously enjoy the friction. Sometimes I'm miffed if there are two fights in the same division on a card and they have two Russians fighting each other and 2 people of color fighting each other. What a missed opportunity.

lol nice strawman.
I think some people, that happen to be boxing fans, enjoy & identify with racial/nationalist sh!t a lot is all. You don't gotta be anti-this to be pro-that, cmon brother. Its a fact we are a tribe species. I think your tribe might just be dependent on how far you've advanced from the most obvious similarities & differences among people. If you like black fighters more or you like highly technical guys more or you like people from Cuba more or you like people who talk sh!t more. You are still being tribe oriented & depending on the tribe you're down for you may wanna see two guys from similar or different tribes fighting. And that could do more for you from an entertainment angle. It is what it is.
floyd is a promoter, sees a chance to connect
to a wide untapped audience of young kids.
plus bieber seems to adore him. no bad promotion
if a mega star in his now right publicly adores you.
good move and good business for floyd.
i sense they both are not the deepest of minds
and enjoy the same "lifestyle" …

So you're agreeing with me? Not really sure. The "strawman" made it sound like you disagree, but everything you wrote after that seems to be in agreement with what I said, or at least I don't disagree with the bulk of what you wrote.

Let's be honest here: it's very obvious with Floyd and Bieber.
I think it's okay to be gay, I'm not homophobic. But I think Floyd should find a man closer to his own age than Bieber. Just my opinion.
So you're admitting to being gay and dating younger boys??
No, I'm not gay. Read my post more carefully.
I think it's okay to be gay, but perhaps not okay for a middle-aged man like Floyd to be with a teen-aged boy. Floyd and Curtis Jackson were closer to the same age, that relationship was okay.
