Possible opponents for Leonard;

1. Henry Armstrong fighting Mando vs Pernell Whitaker
2. Packey McFarland fighting Roberto Duran
3. Barney Ross
7. Esteban Dejesus fighting Cleto F**cking Locatelli
8. Tony Canzoneri fighting Mayweather
10. Carlos Ortiz fighting Pacman

Unless I made a mistake above, I guess we have to give Barney Ross a shot.

ALTHOUGH WE WOULD MUCH RATHER FIGHT SAM LANGFORD FOR THE LONSDALE

Neither of these are done deals as yet. Fist of Legend said "first to accept" which was Ortiz.

Laguna would like to fight Alexis Arguello

EDIT: Assuming Ortiz has to defend his title to a challenger ranked 15 or below. If Ortiz can accept Mayweathers title shot offer then he will take that instead.
So it is still up in the air for Ortiz and Canzoneri 'til FOL gets back.

If Ortiz asked first then he will get the shot if he wants it, if not then T-Can gets the shot.

Langford....are you gonna run?

Mark Ronson helped me out with Sweet Pea's new ring walk music.
Goes to the tune of "uptown funk"

Stand toe to toe you'll be out cold
Made Sam Langford wanna pack and fold

This one's for them fake champs
and those chumps that manage their SimChamps of CHEESES

Stylin', whilen, livin' it up in the city
Got Gloves on sportin' Saint Laurent
Got kiss hisself, he's so pretty

He's too Fast (hot damn)
Call the police 'he bout killed Joe Gans

He's too quick (hot damn)
He'll make Duran wanna retire man

He's too good(hot damn)
Say his name you know who he am

He's too rich (hot damn)
And he's bad 'bout that money, break it down

Well he hits you once hallelujah (whoo)
Then he hits' you twice hallelujah (whoo)
Then he hits you thrice OOPS he punched through ya! (whoo)

'Cause Sweet P's here and gon' give it to you
'Cause Sweet P's here and gon' give it to you
'Cause Sweet P's here and gon' give it to you

Saturday night and we in the fight.......
Don't believe me just watch (come on)

Don't believe me just watch uh

Stop.......
wait a minute
Fill his cup, put some liquor in it

Snort a line,
sign a check
Julio? he just got stretched

Rode to Harlem, Hollywood
Jackson, Mississippi

Sweet P shows up, he gon' knock you out
Smoother than a fresh jar o' skippy

He's too fast (hot damn)
Call the police and a fireman

He's too quick (hot damn)
He'll make Armstrong wanna retire man

He's too good (hot damn)
Sam his name you know who he am

He's too fast (hot damn)
And he's bad 'bout that money

Break it down

It's fight night and he's on the spot
Don't believe me just watch (come on)

Fernandez will fight your boy if he is still available?

ROSS will fight anyone! If Mayweather still wants the fight we will take it, if Duran is still available we will fight him too...

No chance. Langford will need three defenses to be eligible, just like everyone else. Potentially, this fight could be made - but one of them will have to drop their World Title.

I haven't been online in 48 hours, so here's a quick breakdown of what's happened:
Fist of Legend wrote:Mayweather offers fights to Barney Ross, Tony Canzoneri or Carlos Ortiz, first to accept will get the shot.
Controversial answered first:
Controversial wrote:EDIT: Assuming Ortiz has to defend his title to a challenger ranked 15 or below. If Ortiz can accept Mayweathers title shot offer then he will take that instead.
So that fight has been sanctioned. And the IBO Title is now declare vacant - the title slots will go to 16 - Ken Buchanan and 17 - Ismael Laguna. I will contact them via PM, to inform them of their opportunity.
Jpreisser wrote:So if the belt is dropped, does that mean Armstrong fights for it as it will then be vacant?
Yes. Regardless of what happens, Armstrong will DEFINITELY be fighting for the WBO Title. If Buzz chooses to vacate it, you will fight the next highest eligible challenger.

If Ken Buchanan isn't interested, 18 - Ted "Kid" Lewis will gladly jump in.

Manny Pacquiao adds Oscar De La Hoya (Crease) and Freddie Welsh (Techno89) to his call out list.
