The PPV model in the UK just doesn't do any good for the sport, all it does is attract the hard-core fans. Sport needs new fans and big companies who advertise around events on the TV need at least the casual fan to be viewing.

I'll only pay for a PPV if it's a super-bout, Hearn seems to think that throwing a load of good fighters into a bill is good enough to trick fans. It's bs. allegedly for a monthly fee is more than fine, plus them lads are getting lots of PPV quality from across the pond for no extra charge to its subs.

Rumour is Brooks goind to be added to the card. Sounds too soon to me. Makes sense as Khan vs Algeri takes place on the same night, which SKY will be showing. Almost 100% PPV now. All action that night will be on Box Office, including Khan.

If it's PPV they can feck off, first good show in ages so we have to pay £20 to watch it.

It's not the time that bothers me, I can stay awake to watch, but it's the principle of it, I'm not paying £20 to watch Lee Selby, Kevin Mitchell, Kell Brook and Amir Khan. Not interested in the first two and I wouldn't pay for Khan and Brook unless they were fighting Mayweather, Pacquiao or each other.

Two PPV's instead of just the main event then(Khan-Brook).

"Two fighters, mean one PPV night." <Eddie has a brainwave and sees a fountain of never ending fake tan> "But two fighters in two fights, means two PPV nights."

Keep pushing that rock, Eddie. Pretty soon you turn around and no one is watching.

Said in an interview last night he wants to get Kell Brook out on this and then late July early August get Brandon Rios over.

What is the point in Kell being on this it will just be of the level of Jo Jo Dan risk injury and miss a big fight.

Just go straight to Rios.

Ryder vs Blackwell added too. Defo ppv but how are they going to fit all the fights on with an 11.30pm curfew, all-dayer?

Thing is this card is looking awesome and will be PPV but that means it will likely just crap stuff on normal sky this year.

Leeds undercard is falling apart and Josh isn't in a good fight ( the show is selling great though so not much concern from that side)

Newcastle did fall apart. (JLD v Simmons and the Nelson v Wislon fight turned out ok)

Birmingham won't have Gavin and Van Heerden ( and a proper headliner for that show) which on paper looked ok.

May 30th show has just been confirmed as a PPV event. 2 PPV shows within 4 weeks of each other..... shocker.

Not a fan of the way things are heading on SKY.

Eddie has a fantastic stable, by far the best in the UK, however a combination of "stacked PPV's" and sending fighters abroad to be bashed up means the majority of his major names no longer feature on domestic SKY Sports bills. We're going down the road of Matchroom feeding SKY Sports a combination of Prizefighter and shows featuring their C level fighters to fulfil their 20 show per year commitment.

Not good enough!

Wow...just wow. It's like Sky are trying to get a record low buy-rate for each PPV now. Who in their right mind would buy this?

I'm seriously cancelling Sky as soon as my current deal ends, it's just terrible value for money.

He could have just not done Brook v Gavin and this card could have been normal sky no problem.

Not forgetting that if Frampton said yes we would have 3 PPV shows in what 8 weeks?

Pure greed.

Could have had May-Pac May 2nd, this on May 30th, Khan-Brook June 13th and Frampton-Quigg on June 20th if all the fights were put together.

I cancelled Sky Sports in December. Had no regrets. Now I just watch the fights the next day on youtube instead. I have to say that he is taking the royal piss now though. Served up utter fcking shite all year, real trash and then the first semi interesting fight card he slaps on PPV.

However for me it is not actually enough of a card to tempt me to watch it live even if I still had Sky Sports. If I had a date lined up or the kids round (which means they want to watch a film or do something together) I would not really be fussed at all that I could not see it live.

PPV for a card that I probably would only be 50-50 about seeing if it was free to air.

Im hearing a rumour that Ringside is going to be Pay per view on a thursday night With a "STACKED" Studio.

i kept my sky sports for Boxing and Darts but this year ive kindove faded away from the darts and if the Boxing is going to be Pay per view everytime theres Decent fights then id probably not be at a loss to scrap Sky sports now and just stream anything i want to watch and pay for the Box office ones that i really want to see.

Its a decent card, but its not a PPV card.... I think Eddie is just hyping it up so when he puts it on regular sky he can imply that its the greatest none PPV card in the history of the sport, when really it should be a run of the mill card for people paying a sky sports subscription. If it is PPV along with the Mayweather Pacquiao fight I think it will hurt them, because people aren't likely to pay out for PPV twice in the same month. That is a real dent in the wallet on top of your regular subscription.
