Not really,the main event was good but the ref spoiled it by allowing persistent fouling by Askin

Miles Shinkwin dismantling Richard Horton was excellent and Mitchell Smith's KO of Antonio Hovatic was brutal but the other 5 fights were tripe

Shinkwin was good - a touch of the Froch about his style.
Romeo Romaeo (sp?) was vaguely watchable

Good last couple of rounds where Greenwood had his moments but it was effectively a shite fight

The punches that landed on the back of Askin's head were mainly due to him putting his head down on McKenzie for a cuddle

Defo. How he got away with it for the first 5 rounds is beyond me. Was blatant but effective.

Na as much as I was frustrated watching Askin spoil, the blame falls mainly on Marcus McDonnell who failed to enforce the rules and allowed Matty to keep fouling,it wasn't just the grappling,he was going in with the head too

Askin boxed well when letting his hands go and I was a bit surprised I had McKenzie winning when I tallied up my card at the end but he(Matty) let that get away from him

As for a rematch, no thanks,Ovill has proved himself domestically and if he can't get a title shot then an eliminator will do

Askin boxed well but got the balance wrong in some of the rounds when it came to spoiling and fighting,he'll be feeling like he let it get away but great perseverance from Ovill to claw it back

Matty should have been DQ if I'm honest but the ref let him away with it all night yet was quick to pull up McKenzie, it spoiled the fight

PS-WTF was going on with the scores? Does Mark Burdess not know what MD is and one of the scores was clearly wrong

I had it by about 2 points to McKenzie but I backed him to win by KO so obviously I was biased!

The holding just ruined the fight and when the ref took a point from Orvil I thought it wasn't going to be his night. Managed to get 7/4 in live betting on Orvil just to win the fight around the mid-way stage, so I came out about even.

I don't like to see DQ's but Askin was, well, asking for it

Look at fights from the 70's and 80's , fat bloke comes out introduced the boxers, told us who the ref was , and then that was it.

Same as I got 17/10 about round 7 or 8 on Ovil. My banker was Ovil KO/TKO/DQ I was screaming for the DQ
