see this is why I am confused because this fight is just a fraction of what DG could earn, and a bit of warm up fight. Surely the smart move and the big bucks is attempting to do what is hardly ever done and unifying the 140 div.
if DG is frightened of losing his 'o' then I have some bad news for him hes not in that bracket of elite fighters who have the ridiculous boxing talent with a dash of luck to fight their entire careers without losing. every world class boxer will have their weakness you lose a fight if you are intelligent enough you may have just found a weakness. ( an example il use is VLAd, a weakness a glass chin he had to change the way he fought so thats why he fights like an octopus and holds)
it would be one more fight for DG @140. So what if he loses to TC, he would have lost nothing but fatter wallet the respect of most of the boxing fraternity for trying to unify and a pointer of a learning curve. plus he still has the edge over TC with that power @ '140, he wont have luxury when everyone else hits like donkeys @147
