Chin Up Bars suitable for bedrooms?

New to this forum, so hey.

In need of some advice... I'm keen to get a chin up bar in my room, however, my house walls are quite hollow and are certainly not made of brick like some older houses. I could place it down in the garage where there are brick walls, but there isn't much room down there. Has anyone tried this before?
