Burns v Figueroa

Post by Taansend »

A couple of questions...

What weight is the fight at? I know it's Light Welter but is there a clause or two in there?

Does Burns have a chance?

Will the Ref be a Spanish speaker who understands Scottish, a Scottish speaker who hablas Espanol or a mute who uses sign language?

Anyone know the bookies odds on Burns getting a decision?

I've only seen Figueroa a couple of times but he didn't look anything special. Can dig a bit. In saying that Burns has been awful since an arguably career best performance over Mitchell. Not too sure what weight they are fighting. I read Burns was going back to lightweight but I thought Figueroa was moving up so it could very well be at 140 or some sort of catch weight. Would be nice if Ricky can go over there and do the business.

I also read that it's an afternoon fight over there in his backyard. Outdoor fight in May in Texas! It'll be a hot one. Burns defo up against it here.

It's not outside. It's at the State farm arena in Hidalgo.

I stand corrected. Got my wires crossed. Still a tall order though.
