Josh Taylor turning pro?

Post by Stuarty »

I read somewhere that an announcement is expected soon. Does anyone have any info? Should be a good addition to the pro ranks. Look forward to following him.

Would be a great move for him, McGuigan's done a great job with Frampton, probably fight in Belfast on the undercards, then on other promoters shows in Scotland to keep him active until he's ready to headline shows in Scotland.

Yeah that's the one I got told he was signing with, also had an offer from abroad, mgm and saltire all In for him but heard nothing about matchroom, for me he's the future of scottish boxing,

Best move for him out of those options, can't comment on the offer from abroad without knowing who it's from, but Saltire are too small for a fighter of his quality and I think that fighters are best off staying well away from MGM, for obvious reasons.
