Re: "Mike Seals Signs with Haymon"
There should just be one massive thread dedicated with all new Haymon/PBC signings at this point lol
Re: "Mike Seals Signs with Haymon"
He's nearly 33, he hasn't fought anyone, and I don't recall him being a stellar amateur....he'd be a fairly underwhelming opponent for Stevenson unless he has much more notable success in the future or Stevenson loses and is looking for a presumably softer opponent than usual for a comeback.

Fwiw I don't agree with the opinion that any particular guy Haymon/PBC is signing is about any particular opponent in a future matchup or at least that usually won't be the case. Its about making competitive/interesting matchups in the future among many potential opponents. This guy is some prospect/fringe contender type of cat who'll make for a competitive/interesting fight vs other similar type guys & perhaps with a couple wins could move himself to a fight with better opposition.crusader wrote:He's nearly 33, he hasn't fought anyone, and I don't recall him being a stellar amateur....he'd be a fairly underwhelming opponent for Stevenson unless he has much more notable success in the future or Stevenson loses and is looking for a presumably softer opponent than usual for a comeback.
