after reading this on the BBC website I think Brook is right, Khan really does have no-where to go in the welterweight division if he loses to Brook, Yes he's still a big name but in terms of fighting for the titles or big name fights, he really would have to work his way back up or drop back down to the light welterweight division.
Brook on the other hand, even a loss against Khan wouldn't hurt him because I don't think Khan has the stopping power to put him down, just to out work him and losing because of the judges isn't as big of a deal as leaving the ring on your back like khan has in the past.
Brook win or lose has his name raised because of a high profile fight and he cements his place in British boxing as a top competitor
Khan if he wins has a stronger case against the winner of Floyd vs Manny
Khan if he losses he has lost any chance of that fight unless there is no-one else left to fight including Kell Brook
Brook vs Khan
Re: Brook vs Khan
If this happens I really fancy Brook to catch Khan at some point and get the KO. If it goes the distance then you need to favour Khan. There is a very real chance if May vs PAC is close or competitive enough that we'll see a rematch so what does Khan do then? If he wants these big fights he has to force the issue.
