Herol gets gruesome sounding chin check

Post by dondada »

This operation sounds awful. Plus, a dentist who also does botox injections? Hope Herol doesn't live to regret this!

so you hope he dies!!!! Thats a bit harsh

He then implanted seven teeth into the new bone to replace those Herol had knocked out during a world championship bout with Julian Jackson.
The punch that did the damage was so vicious it knocked Herol out cold before he hit the ground.
Herol said: "Ever since that day I've had to wear dentures. I always wanted permanent teeth again.
That was one of the saddest moments in British boxing history IMO

Jesus christ, never knew he lost 7 teeth, Jackson really was one of the most brutal punchers P4P boxing ever saw.

I would describe Jacksons punching ability with one word "Chilling"

"Chilling" is the right word, i don't think i've seen a harder puncher , when he was at his best Jackson was just scary.

Did i say that the opponents were scared? Just the knockouts that Jackson scored were. against Drayton, Graham, Milton, Norris etc.

The scariest thing is he seemed to throw them in an arm punch of sorts without much swing or as if his feet weren't planted that heavily

McClellan fought him twice, the first fight he absorbed frightening levels of punishment before koing him.

Getting back to the 7knocked out teeth...

I too had never heard this before, 7 teeth would mean buckets of blood but I cannot remember seeing any blood after the fight...I shall re-look at the fight tomorrow.

I doubt that the teeth were all knocked clean out by the punch, ...they were probably broken in his mouth and had to be removed after the fight. Herol had trouble getting the Boxing Board to allow him to fight again after that night and had to take a year out I think... it really was a chilling ko...
