So does Wright fight Daws or Lynes for a vacant title, last i knew Witter was British champ, has Witter vacated, i knew Witter vacated the commonwealth title.

I've seen daws fight many times and he;s a decent fighter great heart etc but seems to be missing that something special, He marks up terrribly. I think lynes would have a little bit to much for him

Very witty Ian McNeilly :TU: :)

Very interesting development. The Hennessy/Matchroom connection coming into play again it seems.

Daws won't let himself down that's for sure, but Lynnes has proven he is capable at this level. His on the move boxing skills can win a decision or cuts/injury stoppage. There's always an outside chance Daws can grind Colin down but Lenny not ready to beat Lynnes just yet in my opinion.

How come Colin has to have an eliminator? Surely he should just be fighting for the title? Surely his credentials are not in question? Dawes may be a good fighter but he's only had a handful of fights. Why are the higher ranked British fighters not having an eliminator or fighting for the title? I think Colin should win this even with only 2 weeks notice.
