Re: Million Dollar Tournament: EVERYONE ENTER! LET'S HAVE NO CPU BUMS THIS SEASON - WE ONLY NEED 9 MORE

Post by Crease »

Unregistered fighters:

baron_otto - Ike Williams, Diego Corrales
Boxbully - Hector Camacho
DaveyMac - California Jackie Wilson
DMA1987 - Sam Langford, Rodolfo Gonzalez
Fat Git - Pedro Carrasco, Beau Jack
Fist of Legend - Juan Manuel Marquez
Jpreisser - Ad Wolgast

If we can get the last nine to enter, then it will leave two outcasts who will be more stuck with meaningless fights with CPU opponents.

The MDT only comes around once per year, DON'T miss you on this great opportunity.

Join with us, enter!!! And let's make this a sim tourney to remember.

If everybody's super...then nobody's super. I may have to pull my guys out just on general principal.

What about giving the last places to the last 8 guys who, as a CPU, got a win or draw against a managed fighter? Keeps out Montgomery, Blackburn and Mosley but rewards guys who've to some extent proven their ability to at least hang with the best (sometimes). I think were talking about the likes of Jim Watt, Lakva Sim and Robert Guerrero but it'd just take a quick scan though the last few results pages to find out.

Agreed, that is more than likely what we will do. Great minds think alike.

Re: Million Dollar Tournament: GROUP DRAW BEGINS SHORTLY

Post by Crease »

And the top 7 ranked CPU fighters (who have never been managed) are:

Willie Joyce (37th)
Jim Watt (39th)
Jimmy Goodrich (40th)
Artur Grigorian (45th)
Wesley Ramey (46th)
Joe Shugrue (47th)
Edwin Rosario (48th)

None of these seven have ever been Managed, so their success/failure cannot be attributed to any previous Manager (as has happened before).

And so we move on to the Quarters... The 4 World Champs are exempt from facing each other as per the rules of the tourney.
On the plus side, it means that all remaining participants will be rewarded for their adventures with a World Title shot.
So let' see how it goes.
