How can this be when gavin has put me to sleep at virtually every pro fight he has had? He is shite dont care what ppl say or what he says he stinks arena's out up and down the country. Cant get my head around this fight as ther are more worthy fighters in britain of a world title shot but then again an easy nights work again for brook

Bollox is it well said. He is a boxer. This is a boxing forum. He is a lazy arse who does not diet or train correctly and that is apparent from his physique, lack of strength and increased bodyweight.

Not all boxers are 'cut' and muscular and there is a lot more to boxing than physical appearance.

Frankie works hard and is fit -there is no way he survives that Bundu body shot and gets up to finish the fight if he isn't in great nick; that's a far better indication of a fighters fitness level than an arbitrary observation based on body composition

Mate I am not talking or comparing to bodybuilding at all or judging by muscular nature of a physique. Gavin is renowned as a lazy trainer, people in the industry constantly allure to exactly that and that will not serve him well at all. His inability to keep his weight down and that he is now fighting at welterweight says it all. He is fighting above a weight class he should be in and would be much better as a lightweight as he would not be dealing with such a huge physical strength deficit. He is about 10lb overweight but that does not mean he is not physically fit. Do not put words in my mouth, I spoke about his lack of strength and his increased bodyweight. I did not even touch on fitness

The card is 1000 times better than Bellew Cleverly 2. I wish it wasn't PPV but it's not the worst value. The main issue is that boxing fans will have to fork out for 2 PPVs in a month on top of Sky Sports subs which just isn't fair IMO.

It might be a better card than Bellew Clev 2 but then gonorrhea is better than syphilis but I don't actively seek out either.

4 weeks after Mayweather v Pacquiao at an inflated price this is nonsense. There may be 3 world title fights on the bill but the only competitive ones will be Mitchell and Selby. Horse shit.

Got to agree with you there. You can't just subscribe to SKY Sports without having some kind of regular subscription with them. The cheapest is the Original bundle at £21.50 per month. SKY Sports is £25.50 on top of this plus a further £5.25 to watch SKY Sports in HD. £52.25 then almost a further £40.00 if you want to watch the 2 PPV shows. Boxing fans get the shaft again.

Won't be paying for this either. Absolutely no problem paying £20 for Mayweather Pacquiao but not prepared to part with £18 to watch this. Not one fight worthy of the status and even all 3 together isn't worthy of it.

Good to see that Hearn has actually had a fair bit of negative response to this on twitter though rather than the usual blowing smoke up his ass.

This has got me thinking though, i dread the day that Joshua fights for the world heavyweight title. The cost will be ridiculous
