If judges look at fighters' faces, then Peterson won.

I thought that LP gave away too many of the early rounds to close the distance in the last few rounds. I won't be upset with a MD or UD for Garcia simply because LP wasn't busy enough and appeared to be running in the early 5-6 rounds.

very good round for both guys.
peterson went for it and landed all the best shots.
too bad he gave away so many early rounds because he
needed a ko to win and didn't get it. garcia 8-4 or 7-5

I believe Garcia will be given the fight, being an A side and all, but my God he only survived that due to Petersons stupidity.

UK tv have Peterson winning by a few rounds.. I have Peterson winning by one. He absolutely bullied Garcia in the last 5 rounds. Great heart from garcia in the last round. Might have nicked it on some of the judges cards

Thought Lamont won it, but close fight. Can't complain about decision in such a close one

LP's strategy of giving away too many of the early rounds and moving too much cost him the fight, if he had began with walking Garcia down the way he ended it he probably would've won easily or by stoppage.

Garcia looked the worse for wear after the fight, he looked like the guy who lost.

I thought Peterson edged it and on my card that's Danny's second loss.

Danny seemed to go downhill fast after the 9th round...that's probably because of all the chasing he was doing.

So although Peterson should have engaged earlier in the fight, Danny tiring was a direct result of this.

That is a bit disappointing - I think Lamont Peterson is very unlucky not to come away with at the very least a draw i had Peterson up by one round. Peterson beat Garcia up in the second half of that fight....

Garcia very lucky to get the win

Close fight. I can see someone scoring it a close win by either or a draw.

I thought Peterson edged it, although he ran WAY too much.

Running so much is the reason Peterson did not win and did not deserve to win.
Decision was for Garcia was correct.
