Error... Delisa

Post by Chauncy »

This is Chauncy Welliver and my fight with Elisara Si Uti was changed to a no contest after the judge wrote a letter admitting his error on the score sheets, and the commissioner of the NZPBF Gary McCrystal changed it due to this result. There has been no changes, and I did not lose the fight. The judge admitted to the error and it was changed, and I don't know why it was changed back to a loss.
Could someone at boxrec please fix this?

Bloody hell is this still on the go?

No offence but it sounds like the NZ officials couldn't organize a piss up in a bewery.

A rematch is in order, winner gets to choose the result of the last fight

The commissioner McCrystal says there has been no change, and there never will be a change.
I would love to rematch Elisara, but he wants $5000US dollars for the fight. I still may do it, even with my own money. He's put me through a lot of heartache, and he will pay dearly. I know I don't hit to hard, but when I say I'm going to KO someone, it's for real, as I don't have to much faith in my power, but I will KO Elisara. I was losing weight rapidly, and didn't feel real good for the last fight, and still beat him up.
Even if I do stop him Joe, justice needs to serve itself in the first fight. I beat the man fair and square, and the judge (Reddaway) made a mistake.
I'm going down there soon for another lengthy visit, and this fight will happen again, only I wont leave it into the hands of my opponents country men.
I love NZ and plan on fighting there a lot more, but when the judge and commissioner admit to a foul up, you know they messed up. They wrote and signed a letter stating that there was a mix up. The commissioner called a boxrec editor and told him that it was a no contest.
I would like this result changed back to what the commissioner said it was, a "No Contest".
I have been dealing with a top promoter, and I don't need a loss I d shouldn't have on my record, on my record. :TU:

I changed it to the NC that is the "official" result.

But please note Chauncy.
No matter what BoxRec says, most of NZ’s & all of Australia’s boxing fraternity will always remember it as a Split Points Loss. That, unfortunately, can’t be changed, erased or whatever.
Cheers!

I'm going down there soon for another lengthy visit,
Make sure this time it's long enough to qualify for NZ title. That way I'm sure OPBF President Frank Quill will allow you to fight for its title in Japan. :P
No harm in trying last time. Japan isn't a bad joint to visit....Wouldn't live there though.

Japan

Post by Chauncy »

Japan is somewhere I would love to visit. I love New Zealand, and actually, I liked Aussie when I was there, even though every Kiwi in the world doesn't like Aussie, I thought it was a great country.
I plan on fighting out of New Zealand coming up. I plan on moving there hopefully for good, and I would like to go for the NZ title, then the OPBF. The OPBF is a strong title, and I hope to have a lot of WBC regional title someday. I love NZ and hope to be a resident, but I will still always be American, so it will be hard to fight for these titles.
I have contacted Quill about being rated for the OPBF, but he said I wasn't there long enough. I am though, rated by the PABA, so there is some hope in the Asia Pacific.
Anton, I fight there April 1 in NZ, maybe you can come and we can meet, and start off on the right foot? Let me know if you would like to come. It will be a great card that should be announced soon. :TU:

Maybe Gold Coast promoter Jamie Myer can match you with Mirovic for PABA title on his March 5 promotion?

I'm pretty sure Calloway lost PABA title due to KO loss, or maybe WBF which would also be vacant.

PABA

Post by Chauncy »

That would be great. Me and Big Bob sparred a bit in NZ, and he was tough and would be a great fight.
I would though, pursue the OPBF if I could, and me and O'kello would be a good fight.
I do want to fight Roger Izonreti for his title, and I was actually offered a fight with Kali Meehan March 11 in Fiji for the PABA title.
I'm working on a fight in NZ now, and want it to be big opponent for me to fight.
After that I would like to do what a lot of people want to happen. I'm going to promote a card of my own hopefully and fight Elisara Si Uta for some title, maybe the OBA. It would be a fight I want, and Anton, believe me, I won the fight, and I want to prove it. The contreversy surrounding the fight makes it that much more fun.
The fight was actually a good one too, so I look forward to it.
Then Anton, I hope to take my act over to Aussie. I never got to fight there, but did visit, and I know it will be fun, as I had a good time there and thought the people were great.
I have talked to Jaime Myer in the past, and maybe me and him can work something out. I know I can never be champion, but I can be entertaining, so I hope to fight all over the world. :TU:
Thanks Anton! You really are a cool guy, and I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot
