I was under the impression that Chisora has plenty of cash so doesnt need to box, so the question would be if he fancies fighting at that level after previously being in World title fights.

Fury is the mandatory opponent for Klitschko's WBO title and he's highly ranked by the WBA (5th) and the IBF (3rd) - so he is currently perfectly positioned for a fight with Wladimir... Why would he risk that lucrative fight by accepting a bout with a dejected old rival of his?

He won't risk it, but it keeps Price relevant. Fury isn't risking anything from now on until its either a title fight ( I think his team much prefer Wilder to WLad and will go that route, they are waiting for Wlad to hang his gloves up or get very old ) or a very lucrative fight which brings enough to live on comfortably ( hence why the Haye fight was made ) Price brings neither right now, so it won't happen.

By taking the exact same route Fury does, Price can argue he has done just as much etc etc

I don't think they will fight until Fury loses, then it could be a goer. Keeping Price unbeaten and relevant at the same time is key. No bangers or awkward fighters...pretty much Fury's career approach actually!

Chisora is a bit of an enigma. When he is on form, fit and head in the right place he can be an awkward customer. I thought he beat Helenius and was unlucky not to get the decision. He's always been easy to hit though and maybe he's taken too many big shots and it's caught up with him.

Groves vs. Buglioni

Im sure Frank Buglioni would take the fight but it wouldnt be in his best interests.

Groves, even with his last couple of under par performances, would box Buglioni around the ring and with Frank's lack of head movement the fight wouldnt even get to the halfway mark.

I think a lot of people are underestimating Price. Hes had two bad nights quite early in his career and now he is fodder.
If the fight does go ahead I would pick Price to stop Chisora early. Styles make fights and Chisora is way to short to give Price any problems

Chisora KO I feel. Think he can get up for this. Dereck is well aware he is stepping in a man with a lot of frailties.

I would have thought Fury would be happy enough to drop the British title.

I cant imagine him defending it anytime soon.

I'd imagine they could even make this a European title fight,Chisora's a proven fighter and former holder and Price dominated at British/Commonwealth level

Its a good fight this one, genuinely 50/50 but who ever wins is going to win in under 6 rounds. Either Price sparks Chisora (who hasn't looked as durable since the Haye fight) or Chisora goes in with some venom roughs Price up and batters him into submission.

One thing is for sure is that if Price thinks he can do what he did in his last fight and ease into the rounds until he feels like the other fighter is ready for the taking, Chisora will jump all over him.

A Chisora in the right frame of mind would be the favourite, but is he still hungry?

If Chisora puts on the same kind of performance against Price as he did in the Fury rematch, he'll get absolutely smashed.

Rich people like money and Chisora can make quick and easy money being the opponent whilst barely making an effort to get in shape!

I assume it'd be on BN given that Warren promotes Chisora.

But doesn't Eddie and Sky have the contract with Sauerland?

Chisora is on the decline. Price may well KO him earlyish.

Fully agree. Chisora will come forward and he could be walking onto big shots from Pricey. As a few of the guys have said before me, this one could be over QUICK!!!

If Buglioni is George's next fight, then I'm underwhelmed by that. How exactly would this be setting him for a World Title fight later on in the year? I know that George defeated Douglin in his last outing - but this is the second below-standard fighter in a row.

It's the perfect "welcome back to Britain" fight for David Price. Pricey really needs to up his game, he's coming 32 here in a couple of months and times running out for him to get in to big meaningful fights.

Pricey's longtime rival, Tyson Fury has completely outshone him, AJ looks the new kid on the block and The Hayemaker's return (Haye has said that he wants 2 fights before the end of the year) means that there isn't much room in the British Heavyweight market.)

If Price wins this, he should really be looking at recapturing that British title, or having a look at the Commonwealth title.
This. I think Price would handle Browne easily, win the Commonwealth belt and set himself up with a good shout to fight WK. Unfortunately (as these comments show) people will not be overly impressed with a win over Chisora - they have forgotten his wins over Gerber, Scott and knocking down Kingpin.

Considerable risk, little reward.

No chance Groves fights Buglioni. And since when did Price become good ? The next decent test he gets and the cards are falling again. Chisora more than good enough to give him problems.

Price isn't that good but if Chisora just aimlessly plods forward like he did against Fury the second time then Price could stop him quite early.

Is this fight actually happening, or is it someone's cheese dream? Not seen any mention in the media at all.

Really can't see Buglioni stepping up to GG's level already, given he got beaten by Khomitsky not that long ago.

Buglioni would get absolutely pasted by GG, IMO.
