A Fight schedualed for 3 x 1 minute rounds!.
How would you train for a 3 x 1 minute rounds fight?.

Re: A Fight schedualed for 3 x 1 minute rounds!.
Sprints, one minute bursts on the bag, pads etc.
It wouldn't be much of a fight if you think about it, a minutes goes by fast. You'd just have to get stuck in, there'd be no time not to.

Thats a standard ToughMan contest format. 1 minute rounds and theyr'es usually 3 rounds.
Thats what Charlie Z needs to get into.
Its a great format for hyped up front-runner types that just wanna go all out all at once,or swing for the seats as they say.

Spar 1-minute rounds so you're used to the short distance. Don't be tempted to spar longer rounds for fitness' sake. It's more important to get used to the short sprint so you can pace yourself and strategise accordingly.
Also, do lots of tabata. Any effective gameplan for such a short fight will be based on speed and high-volume output.
