I am saying this because, upon further review, the first round was a 10-7 round, not 10-8.

Quillen knocked Lee down twice in the first round.

The second time was at the end of the round, with Lee only staying on his feet because of the ropes.

If you are hit by a blow and only the ropes prevent you from going down, it should be counted as a KD.
Quillin robbed? What fight are you watching? That 3rd round should have been 10-9 all around for Lee if the referee hadn't screwed up and called a blatant foot entanglement a knockdown. Did everybody not see that Quillin was standing on Lee's shoe? Did you notice that neither punch Quillin threw landed? One went under his chin across his chest and the other went over Lee's head as he ducked. He stood on Lee's boot until Lee fell to the Matt. That should never have been called a knockdown, it was nothing close to a KD. On all three scorecards that accounted for anywhere from a 1 to 3 point reversal in Quillin's favor. The judge didn't make the mistake, the referee did and the judge took it into account. And for the 2nd knockdown in the first round, it was clearly after the bell rang. In fact, Chocolate threw one punch at the bell and then two full punches well after the bell had rung. You can't be awarded a KD two seconds after the round has ended! You cannot hear the bell on the Youtube URL you provided but it is obvious if you watch a replay of the NBC telecast. Maybe that's why you didn't realize it was not a knockdown.

He did step on his foot.

But it appears that he was off it when the second punch landed on the back of Lee's neck.

Technically, that can be called a KD, no matter how bogus you or I think it is.

As for the end of the first round, the second punch was landed as the bell sounded.

It was legal and the ref should have counted.

I direct you to footage in this thread.

Pay close attention to the replay of the end of the round.

You will see Quillen landing the last punch while the clock in the background is still moving.
