The article also says that Chavez plans to contest the WBC world belt this year, but it doesn't say if it will be against Stevenson or Anthony Dirrell. Or maybe they will invent a new weight class for him ?
wbc international belt is not new. they all have international belts and generally they are below
the intercontinental belts and on par with the continental belts, and have been around since at least
the 80's. maybe it's just a new design of the old belt.

There are also rumors that if Chavez beats Fonfara, he will get a shot at Stevenson.

I think this is what is being angled in.

JCC looks good tonight, he becomes viable for Adonis.

A fight that would be huge no matter if you held it in Canada or Mexico.

More reason to root for the Pole to smash that cow faced daddy's boy into pulp.

I know that Junior will never beat Adonis unless the pimp suddenly becomes shot, but then Julio could be beaten up really hard by Kovalev or Beterbiev.

Beterbiev would shred him to pieces. Which is the reason they will never put him in there. Stevenson may get in a bit of trouble if he pushes for KO and dont get it, much like with Fonfara.

Stevenson knows about Junior's chin quality. I also think that Julio's power is about the same as Bika's if not worse, so Adonis could safely drift towards a UD the same way as with Bika.

1st to fonfara. jcc complaining to ref every 2 seconds over clean punches
and clashes that are his fault.

Can't believe they let Chavez take this fight. I think they're just tired of his lazy ass and protecting him. He's losing bad. We know the cards will be hilarious tho.

Surely Chavez will get any decision though. Can't see the Showtime bosses wanting a defeat. Too much money to be made.
