provo aggressive in first coming in hands down but not punching much
and matt already getting his timing down and landing cleaner counters.
1st to matt

Round 1: Matthysse whooped that ass. No question who won that round. He landed some huge bombs.

Lucas better pace himself because Provod is not going anywhere.

Round 2: Very close round. Lots of action going both ways. Both sides of Provodnikov's face are red as though he'd been pepper sprayed. He has a fairly substantial cut above his left eye, and also a very insignificant cut on his forehead.

Matthysse fighting well on back foot, Provodnikov came into it late in round but getting banged.

a few good shots in last 30 2nds. matt cut beside eye.

Round 3: Close round, but possibly 10-9 Provodnikov. Provodnikov is less accurate, but throwing a higher volume. Both fighters landing moderately hard punches. Provodnikov with the more looping punches, Matthysse with the straighter punches. Matthysse doing more circling, Provodnikov doing more chasing. I'm 50/50 on whether I believe this can last the distance.

Can Lucas maintain his stamina, closer round.

Round 4: Close, but 10-9 Provodnikov. Provodnikov landed about 6 very key power punches to Matthysse landing about four. Matthysse got mildly rocked a few times, whereas Provodnikov continues to bleed.

Lucas should listen to his corner, dont hook with the hooker, and pace yourself.

Provodnikov scoring big with left and right hooks, at one point Matthysse held on.
Cut looks dangerous but Provodnikov not hampered too much by it.

Round 5: Very close round, possibly 10-9 Matthysse. Both fighters are coming forward now, fighting in a phone booth, and butting heads. It's like they're trying to walk through each other.

Matthysse scored with a solid right and with some jabs, it's not stopping Provodnikov coming forward though.
