Chilemba is a Main Events fighter. I'm not sure if Duva burned her bridges with Haymon after the WBC purse bid debacle.

For the abandoned Kovalev-Stevenson bout, GYM & Haymon only wanted to deal with HBO & Main Events via letters through the media and purse bids rather than actually discussing matters by sitting with each other at a negotiating table.

There's a chance that Chilemba may one day fight Adonis, but there are far bigger fish for Stevenson to fry in Al Haymon's stable.

I reckon Chavez Jr-Stevenson could be the next WBC 175lb title fight.

Fonfara rematch, Pascal is still a possibility, Artur Beterbiev or Thomas Oosthuize. Anybody but that racist Kovalev. fornicate him.

Chilemba is WBC #1, so logically, he should become the mandatory.

Kova does, his handlers either don't or they just screwed up.

So you're saying Kova has no input on who he fights? He's just a fighting slave?

If Adonis can t fight Kovalev to cash out, he should turn to Pascal. It is a matter of time before he get kicked out to retirement. Fonfara proved in the last fight he could beat him and with more experience i think he would, so no cash and risky fight.. On the other hand Pascal could still put some money on the table.

Looking at his purses, that might be true.

i mean serguy is for sure a tough strong fighter, but as far as brain, he does not seem the smartest, sadly as most boxers. hehe..... i mean, the numbers of bad descision boxers do on a regular basis is just tremendous, like they are so dumb, they dont even seem to want to have a call of who they actualy want to fight, one of the dumbest sentences from a boxer is "mr x is my manager and i let him decide who i am going to fight" and this sentence i here a lot from boxer. they are so damn dumb. i mean if i was a professionel world class boxer, besides training, sure i would go in the internet and find out what fans think or want, i mean, it would only take me half n hour of time to see how a mind of a fan is and at the end they will pay for me, by watching my fights.

khan, cotto, serguy, adonis and on and on and on, the number of bad descisions taking by boxer is tremendous. one big reason the sport is such shit.

My guess is his next 2 fights are Chilemba and a Fonfara rematch since he's "hot" right now in the minds of idiots. Fonfara is a good fighter but there's obv more cash in that fight now from a casual idiot fan perspective since he just beat a guy with name cache. So they can sell that one after his mandatory. We know it wont be Kovalev or Beterbiev, that's for sure.

Is that also your attitude towards Mayweather given racist comments he's made, such as his reference to Pac as a 'yellow chump'? If Kovalev said that he was going to get Adonis to make him 'watermelon and fried chicken' would that be more racist than Floyd's comments that he was going to get Pac to make him 'shrimp tempura' and a 'sushi roll'? What about Floyd's arguably homophobic comment about Pac being a 'faggot'? So much hate it seems.....

As for Adonis's next opponent and excluding Kovalev, I'd like to see him face Alvarez or Beterbiev next, although in light of Fonfara's win over JC a rematch strikes me as more likely.
