Garcia can take the kick of a mule. He's tough and he's hard and he has fast hands. On the minus side, he has slow feet and limited movement. Brook is a better all round fighter and i'd expect him be beat Garcia. At what weight, 147? Brook for certain.

It may be a winnable fight for Brook, but I'd make Garcia favourite.

I don't understand why Garcia doesn't just move up to 147, I thought Peterson just beat him last night; Garcia just did the same thing every round, Lamont mixed it up and was effective going backwards and being aggressive.

Would be a great fight for Brook, very winnable. Will it happen? Unlikely.

Will have to see what DG brings to 147 he may lose a bit of his power.... this division is lethal and IMHO when DG fights for a belt his 0 will go and will drop back down probably

Garcia is too one paced and the Khan result flatters him, he seems very shy in making a move to welter though he struggles yo get to light welter.

hes jus gets into world level where the top 10 are top world level to elite ... danny will strugle hugely and will be found out however i do have be careful with DG as my resentment for his farther and his lucky punch seems to rob of logic...

Hasn't Hearn already said there is an agreement in place with Top Rank for the winner of Brook v Gavin to fight Rios?

Garcia himself comes across pretty well and lucky punch is really unfair. He clearly works on ways of unloading his best punch against the weakness of his opponents

He's about as funny as a fire in an orphanage mate! I understand what he's doing wether he means it or not is another story! I don't think there is much going on between the ears tbh! If brains were dynamite he wouldn't have enough to blow his nose!

DG seems nice enough ... being a khan fan my logic betrays me when paved with resentment.. :D

Brook v.capable of winning that fight.
Garcia no great shakes, that Matthysse win flatters him too, lots now claim he completely outboxed him, not the case, v.close fight and the bullshit knockdown swung it in his favour if I remember correctly.
I personally think he's lost 3 of his last 4 fights...

It was competitive but as someone who wanted LMM to beat Garcia I thought DG won clearly.

I did have Garcia losing two of his last three though and I'd favor Brook to beat him.

Depending on the odds, I would take a decent bet on Brook.

Fair enough, I've only watched it a couple of times, and like you wanted Matthysse to win, maybe I need to watch again.

But yeah, good match for Brook, Garcia is a real one trick pony (good trick mind), but he's just waiting to be comprehensively beaten imo...
