I remember when Wayne Alexander amateur well before he won the ABAs he was fighting for London I think vs the army and he walked into a big hall full of screaming squadies who started monkey noises at him which pissed him off as you can imagine so he goes out and sparkos the soldier then turn to the crowd and starts giving them wanker signs which nearly started a riot .

Yeah good lad Wayne I was at the same amateur club with him and I wasn't there myself but was told after either by our old trainer or maybe another boxer ,over 20 years ago the memory getting a bit fuzzy

I boxed for the kings in 2000 we beat the Irish guards in the final at maida gym in aldershot, brilliant atmosphere the place was bouncing good nights them
