I was there when Kostya Tszyu gave Vernon a lesson.
it was similar to the Judah fight. let him in, let him think he has a chance then BOOM.
What about Jimmy Carruthers vs Vic Towell 1954 World Bantamweight Title. Greatest One fight Defensive performance EVER
U tube this fight. 147 punches to 1. and the 1 punch that Towell threw missed. All over in One Round

Julio Cesar Chavez Snr deserves an honourable mention with his powerful and accurate bodypunching, makes you wince even now when you watch him at his pomp. Also Tyson pre Buster Douglas was a fearsome offensive machine.

Having watched many of Chavez snr's fights, for me he is the ultimate fighting machine,he could be right in his opponents face and hardly get hit,his pace never slowed and his body attacks were vicious, his destruction of Edwin Rosario was sickening to watch and he also had an amazing chin when he did get caught, for me he is the best all round fighter i have ever seen.

He was brilliant Jack; have you seen him v Francisco Tomas Da Cruz? He is astounding v an overmatched yet decent fighter.

Yes i have that fight on tape somewhere, absolutely ruthless.
He looks so casual avoiding incoming punches and seems to have all the time in the world to choose where to land his own shots, it is so perfect it looks like it's rehearsed.

True,i haven't seen such an aggressive fighter be so slippery at the same time, punches just seemed to deflect off his forearms and elbows, that's how he kept going so long at the highest level.I was gutted when he lost to Frankie Randall.
In recent times the best fight I have seen to be punch perfect offensive would have to be when MW fought canelo , the pre fight hype of a close fight just made the schooling that MW gave out just looked as thou he couldnt miss

I have seen the Rosario fight on Youtube a while back and that was an almightybeating that a great champion that Rosario took at the hands of an even greater one. i also enjoyed the Greg Haugen fight too.
Hearns is a dead cert ,Tyson as well for 3 RDS anyway Chavez seems to of become underated by some but to me he was a fighting machine and of the older fighters Dempsey and Stanley ketchel must up there
tzsu was a very formidable and dangerous fighter. cant quite understand how he lost to hatton. I rate prime kostya as one of the very best in his division
