Rankin Wlad's title defenses

Post by tiny_acres »

People on another topic keep mentioning Wlad's streak of defeating the undefeated. Out of curiosity I would like to see how every one rates all of Wlad's title defenses.

3. Uhhh
4. Who cares
5. And sleep.

If you actually meant just undefeated ones, please consult 3 downwards.

Byrd, Peter, Ibragimov, Haye, Povetkin, and Pulev are good choices. Jennings might be the 2nd or 3rd best man in the division today. In time the Jennings win could be one of Wlad's best.

He's pretty much beat everyone out there you can't do much better than that? It's not his fault they are all shit.e, or maybe he's just too good!?

He is not ducking anybody and fights mandatories in contrast with many other champions. It is not his fault that nobody is able to come close to beating him. Fury will likely be next and then Wilder.

How can one see fighters past ratings?

As long as you’re logged into Boxrec, find your fighters “bout list” page… and immediately above their most recent fight, there should be a bar with several options (i.e. Lb, St, Kg, date, ratings off, on, print etc.).

Simply click the empty radio button between the “on” and the red, blue and green bar chart. The page will reload and each fight will have four additional columns indicating the Boxrec ratings before and after their fight.

FYI - The current ratings points are also visible on the divisional or P4P BoxRec rankings pages. :TU:
Huh, I have not ever noticed that bar all the years I've been using boxrec. Cool!

I have to agree with you on this. :TU:

The thing that scares me the most, is the heavyweight landscape after Klitschko’s fights the likes of Fury & Wilder.

Through no fault of his own, there really aren’t that many talented fighters out there for him to fight that would also excite us fans. :o
Future Klitschko fights: Fury, Wilder, Povetkin rematch, Anthony Joshua, Jennings rematch and that is about it right now. Others may develop during the time it takes for Klitschko to fight those 5 fights. I hope Glazkov does not get a title shot as he will not do well against Klitschko.
