Don't know what you wanna hear but the way Lee and quillin performed was nothing to be proud of.

Again for 10 rds we watched two fighters pose at each other not wanting to take any chances or let there hands go. One of the most timid fights of the last few yrs.

Again nothing to applaud in that fight it was a straight dud. But you seem to have some How put it in your head that the fight carried exciting levels of drama which it clearly did not.

Like I said maybe for you it was as exciting as can be but in reality that was far from the case.

Salido vs Martinez was an absolute war. Better than Provo vs Lucas.

Quillin vs Lee was ok but no way it comes anywhere close to get a vote for fight of the year. In fact, some of the rounds were pretty boring. For excitement and action Salido vs Martinez takes the cake.

I agree about Salido-Martinez. It had a better mix of competitiveness and action than Provo-Lucas and Lee-Quillin did, though I enjoyed the latter pair too. I understand why people may not have been entertained by Lee-Quillin, as many of the later rounds didn't have much action, but I thought it was one of those tense, chess-match fights that are still entertaining even without many punches thrown.

As for other fights mentioned, Pascal's success against Kovalev was insufficient for that bout to be my FOTY, as I had it 6-1 Kovalev and never thought he was in significant trouble even during Pascal's best moments in the 5th and 6th, and I haven't seen Ramirez-Afolabi so I can't comment on the quality of that one.
