HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
I suppose people are relatively over this sh!t; three pages instead of eighteen.
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
BS, all one has to do is prove that it was both of them. They had one LEGAL contract negotiation back in 2010 and the fight didn't get made then because Manny DUCKED out using the needles/blood drawn excuse. If you know of another time that they sat down with their Lawyers and Promoters to make this fight happen after that other than now then please share that.MP wrote:Fergusg, KBB, Koolkc... which one of you guys is Justin Bieber?
I've never seen some people try to defend a fighter not wanting to make a fight happen so bad. Yes, Pac didn't make it happen either in 2010-2. However, you're either a family member or a good buddy of Floyd's to put up such an argument that Floyd was really trying to make the fight happen in their prime but Pac wasn't. A regular Floyd fan, and the normal boxing fan would recognize that it was both of them!!!
The problem is exactly people like you, who ASS-ume that it was both sides who didn't want the fight when it is clear that Floyd agreed to ALL of Manny's demands the one time they sat down to negotiate this fight (unless you think talking ish in the media is negotiations).
Floyd agreed to the 50-50, the ridiculous weight penalty of 10 million for every pound over 147, the gloves and everything else MP wanted and all he asked is one thing (Testing for BOTH of them) and Manny DUCKED!!
People like you are the reason why we have to continually post the facts because you repeat a lot of fairytale BS.

Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
Your a tool, what's this prove, Schaefer can't remember offering a 50/50 split, he's the ceo, how does anyone know if the contact that was seen was legit if the ceo doesn't know a detail like that, pacquaio tried to negotiate the best deal for not getting blood drawn close to the fight, big deal, obviously manny was willing to give, where did Floyd give, pacquaio went from 30 days down to five days and still not good enough for Floyd, then in 2012 he agrees to everything to make the fight happen and what happens, duckweather, pacquaio offered to fight for free with all proceeds going to charities around the world still no deal, seems to me to be very straight forward
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
Packy offering to fight for free, lol, who believes that when he wouldn't even fight for the 50-50 deal at that time? I'm the tool but you offered nothing tangible to support your nuthuggery and lies. Where's your proof of anything? I can go get many other links that report this story in detail but you have NOTHING/NADA/ZILCH/ZERO facts to back up the stuff you're saying, it is all BS just as you are.
The facts are just as I stated, face it, you got caught posting BS just as you are doing here dumb ass.

In boxing promotion, if there isn't spin, conjecture and sometimes downright lying involved, you're doing it wrong.
That's the nature of the beast, plus HBO hardly pretends to be impartial these days.
If you watch the other side's pov promo, it's over-spun the other way.
It's kind of fun and funny to watch the boxing promo machine work people into this mad frenzy that's been stewing and simmering for years.

Quite suitable for his fans on this site, though I don't like name calling. But Floyd sure has the most stupid fans. On boxrec that is.Tanzio wrote:Oh the nostalgia; Mannyacs and Floydiots on parade!
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
Maybe Floyd does have his share of stupid fans.Emil wrote:Quite suitable for his fans on this site, though I don't like name calling. But Floyd sure has the most stupid fans. On boxrec that is.Tanzio wrote:Oh the nostalgia; Mannyacs and Floydiots on parade!
But what I'd really like to see is a Pac fan that can defend his behavior for the past 5 or 6 years or so with fact.
How about you, Emil?
In the HBO travesty, Manny stared right in the camera and said that blood testing was not the reason the fight was not signed in December 2009.
Care to document how that can possibly be truth with links to facts?
I'll wait...

I believe you already covered it more than once. Fight is finally on. That's what I thought.
I hope you enjoy it as well...

Your question has been covered/answered thousands of times, maybe even in this thread, though I haven't read the whole thread.koolkc107 wrote:That's what I thought.

Yeah I might not enjoy it, since Mayweather is one of the participants, but I am hoping for a good boxing match and not a stinker.
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
Pac sitting in front of an interview in a new "alleged" documentary and telling a bald faced lie HAS NOT been covered thousands of times.Emil wrote:Your question has been covered/answered thousands of times, maybe even in this thread, though I haven't read the whole thread.koolkc107 wrote:That's what I thought.

Or did you even realize what the topic of this thread is?
I too hope for a good, even fight. I am a boxing fan first.
It's just that common sense tells me that is probably a very remote possibility.
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
http://youtu.be/G2mQhgnnyKo Pacquaios offer, your own article you supplied has Schaefer saying he can't remember agreeing to a 50/50 split, makes me think the "contract" was for the media, in 2012 pacquaio publically said he'd agree to everything Floyd wanted including testing up to the night of the fight so the fans get the fight they've been waiting for, so why is it 3 years down the track that the fight is happening, it was 2012 when floyds video came out saying he was scared for his health in regards to fighting pacquaio, so in summary even after pacquaio agreed to all the testing Floyd was still using peds as an excuse not to fight him, he ducked

He was asked a simple question "Is blood testing the reason the fight did not happen?"
And he gave a simple answer, "No".
The implication being that Floyd walked away when the opposite was true.
You can't parse that or try to spin it as what Manny meant.
And BTW, if the truth was as nuanced as you say, then real journalism would have brought that out.
Again, more evidence of just how bad the show really was from an integrity standpoint.

Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
Here you go with this dumb ass Pacquiao offer crap, you can't offer anything to someone who is the "A" side of the equation, did Floyd "offer" anything to Oscar? Did Lalonde "offer" anything to SRL??Pureist wrote:http://youtu.be/G2mQhgnnyKo Pacquaios offer, your own article you supplied has Schaefer saying he can't remember agreeing to a 50/50 split, makes me think the "contract" was for the media, in 2012 pacquaio publically said he'd agree to everything Floyd wanted including testing up to the night of the fight so the fans get the fight they've been waiting for, so why is it 3 years down the track that the fight is happening, it was 2012 when floyds video came out saying he was scared for his health in regards to fighting pacquaio, so in summary even after pacquaio agreed to all the testing Floyd was still using peds as an excuse not to fight him, he ducked
Quoting stupid crap like "Manny agreed to everything publically" doesn't mean that he signed on a LEGAL CONTRACT to it!! There is a difference and I posted links that show what really happened, you came here with some half-baked BS video that means nothing as your proof, lol.
Quoting videos of Floyd being scared for his life isn't LEGAL CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS!! What part of the "LEGAL" aspect do you not comprehend??
Manny ducked, the link is there: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing ... id=4766171
Read the article, the lame comment is there from Arum and that's all the proof anyone needs to know as to who ducked out of this fight and you still refuse to accept it, many news agencies reported this as THE FACT the fight got killed:
http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2009/d ... od-testing
http://www.inquisitr.com/1947376/floyd- ... g-testing/ <<<Focus on the words "Main Obstacle"
http://www.mlive.com/mayweather/index.s ... opard.html
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpVY6D-MI7Q <<<Manny admitting he gets weakened when that little bit of blood is taken from him
Whether it was 14 days, 5 days or all the way up to the fight, Manny still refused/DUCKED and ran like a little chicken crying about being afraid of needles and having blood drawn weakens him, that is what killed the fight and YOU (only YOU, NO OTHER FORUM MEMEBER IS HERE ARGUING IN THE FACE OF THE ALL THE LINKS TO THE FACT) are unwilling to accept it.
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
If you can't offer to the A side, pacquaio is in the right, in 2009 pacquaio was the a side, held the titles, Floyd had just come off an 18 month retirement and no titles, pacquaio was also p4p#1 at that stage aswell if I remember correctly

Your emotions are getting the best (or worst) of you here. Some of what you posted above is outright lies, and you probably know that. If you don't, you are a lot less smart or informed than I thought.

He has never shown any intellect, arguing with obvious facts that I've posted and saying stupid sh*t like Manny was the "A" side. The sheer definition of insanity (doing the same stupid sh*t over and over again and expecting different results) is what he is, anyone who knows that Arum lied/lies about Manny's PPV numbers knows who was the "A" side.
Notice how this idiot (Pureist) continues to be the only one arguing with the facts presented, a total idiot if I've ever seen one but one who doesn't mind making a fool of himself over and over again.
Dude has no shame and doesn't' know when to throw in the towel.
The PPV numbers dictates who is the "A" side and who is the "b" side: http://boxing.about.com/od/Boxing/fl/Fl ... Fights.htm
Re: HBO's "At Last": Spin, Half Truths, And Bald-Faced Lies
A side, champion or highest ranked, B side, challenger, how dumb are you two, your both getting more idiotic as the fight closes in, ppv doesn't set A and B side numbskulls
